Steak 'n Shake

------ New Review! ------ I was very much satisfied with our experience this morning. The staff was quick to be helpful to no only us, both others. The food overall was cooked well and tasted fantastic. My only complaint was that the chili had a little too much salt cooked with it, other than that it was all fantastic and satisfying. My girlfriend and I will Definitely be returning! ------ Old Review ------ Overall, the food was good; little cold, but good. The service was good, however our order was made incorrectly, even after being taken from the mobile order computer. Only other complaint is that the price per quantity of food went up a lot. It's not entirely worth the money for what you get right now. The service was "quick" to fix our order, thus the 4 star.

Good service & food. Food well prepared & fast. Food not slopped together like most fast food places. Friendly staff. I mostly go through drive thru. But when eating inside everyones been friendly, restaurant clean & bathrooms always clean, when we've been there to Dine in. Recommend if looking for a good burger joint for take out or dine in. Always freshly cooked to order & hot when received.

They have no more cashier period, 4 kiosks. When trying to ask someone a question while ordering I thought I was gonna have to walk into the kitchen myself. It took over 2 minutes for the food, then "oh you ordered a shake too"? DID YOU NOT SEE WHAT I ENTERED INTO THE KIOSK??? YES. So, it would appear to cut costs of staffing, they let the intelligent ones go and the rest are who still work there.

I don't know what to say is there anything really to review about Steak and Shake I mean it's burgers, not great, not bad. Most of them are so short-handed now that you're lucky to get waited on. However my one true complaint would be why is it the second they put your fries on the table they are cold? they're literally hot just for the trip to the table and then it's over.

Very disappointed. The milkshakes used to have actual chunks of strawberries in it now it taste like they got the strawberry syrup from Walmart and mixed it together. None of the milkshakes had Cherries. The seasoning I used to love they no longer have. My husband ordered onion rings and got maybe 4 rings. Nothing like the steak and shake that we used to know. Not sure I'll be back.
