I am native German and missed having a Doner! This place was randomly recommended by another fellow German and he assured me that this place is the real deal! I have been to many other places in Chicago that claimed that their Doner will taste exactly like the one in Germany but it was always a fail! Randomly one night I had a Doner craving and decided to drive to this Gem. The moment I walked in, I knew I was not going to be disappointed. I mean I was able to smell it and on top of everything the owners are German/Turkisch!
I am BIG into customer service and the owners of Ali Baba did not disappoint. We sat reminiscing about Germany and had amazing laughs! Their hospitality was beyond welcoming and the Doner was to die for! You can tell by the way they prepared the Doner that they take pride in what they do! All the ingredients were fresh and the meat was seasoned to perfection! There is not much more that I can say BUT seriously do yourself a favor, stop in and try one! You will thank me forever!
I drove 40 miles just to come try this place out. I’ve had a few doner places in the Chicagoland area but none of them tasted like a traditional doner. When I found this place google I wasn’t sure what to expect. After entering the place I knew it was going to be good. After taking a couple bites I knew this was a great place to get a traditional doner. By far the best doner that I’ve had in the United States! Not to mention the service is very good and friendly. The food is definitely worth the trip. I will be definitely coming back to Ali Baba Doner and getting my fix of traditional doner!!
The only place I've found so far that captures the essence of the Doner Kebab. No, this isn't an American Kabob. This is an authentic Turkish Kebab. If you don't know what that is you NEED to try it from here. Amazing food and amazing service. 5/5 highly recommend.

As somebody born and raised in Germany, I always miss good Döner in the US.
Ali Baba delivered a great Döner, with organic poultry and fresh toppings. The bread was nice and crispy, the meat juicy and the garlic sauce very tasty!
Do expect to wait a while, but it’s worth it!
I love doner - like REALLY love it - fell in love in Europe over the last few years, but I've never been able to find any good spots here in the US. Ali Baba has changed that, and I'm so grateful. Excellent meat, great toppings/sauces, and a real durum wrap. Love it
This place is absolutely amazing.. the food is so good so fresh and clean and VERY delicious!! I’m back with my whole fam today.. can’t wait! The best part is the place is sparkling clean! Gives so much relief to see that
