If you live in Uptown then you know this place. They have been slinging up good Mexican food for about 40 years. The staff is super kind and accommodating! The food is a mix of true Mexican specialities and fare for the American. To be honest, I lean towards the American side...often doing a burrito (the steak or Pastor). The margaritas are always on point and satisfying. If you want a truly special evening...buy the staff a drink when you are getting your check. Hearing how thankful the cooks are that ya grabbed them a beer is something that warms the heart for months!

The prices have gone up tremendously over the last 6 years and the food hasn't gotten better... But it's still really good sooooo.. Once in awhile I'll still get it. Bistec a la mexicana is amazing there.

I'm giving one star because I went inside and ordered steak nachos for carry out. The cashier even repeated it back to me. When I got home it was no steak and their nachos is just 8 measly chips! So I called and she said I wasn't charged for steak and she was sorry. Nachos were also very salty. No bueno!
