Had to wait to be greeted because someone needed change and it was too difficult to say "Good evening! Just a moment, I'll be right with you." In a practically empty restaurant, we were seated directly adjacent to another party in a really tight booth until we requested another table. The menu has been whittled down from its former glory to practically nothing. Our server got our order wrong 3 times BEFORE SHE LEFT to give it to the chef. She then brought the appetizers out with one entrée. 3 minutes later, she brought 2 more entrees, then 5 minutes later she brought the last 2, so we couldn't all eat together as a family. 2 of us got warm plates, the rest of us felt like the plates had been stored in the refrigerator. Hot food on a cold plate doesn't stay hot very long. I didn't get the hot tea that I requested as soon as we sat down until I was halfway through my meal, despite the fact that I asked for it twice. The check wasn't split according to our specs, either, but by then we just wanted to leave. I won't be back. Ever.

Waitress i had in July 2018 great however food was disappointing due to discovering the restaurant has an on going rodent problem. We saw rodent running throughout back dining room. Assistant manager admitted they were aware but thought they'd fixed problem. He know believes their in the heating/cooling ducts

There was a time when I really enjoyed going to Leona's. They had an awesome lunch special that came with a little dessert. Kids ate free from a kid's menu. The loaded lemonade packed a powerful punch. You would get complimentary bread depending on your order. Those days are gone and have been for a while but I think Leona's has reached a new low, at least this one has. There was a time when you ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken you would receive 3 chicken tenders. These days you receive 1 pre-chopped tender, if that, in your food. We had to ask for our bread after our food had been delivered. Our waitress' response was that the bread was in the oven. About 7 minutes into our meal, a 1/4 loaf was delivered to our table.
They discontinued the loaded lemonade too. And the margarita is more sour mix them anything. When I asked for a drink that had alcohol in it, I was told it would have to pay for it. But I thought I was paying for it?? Our waitress never checked on us after our food was delivered. We had to flag her down for bread. The food was good. But it was Fettuccine Alfredo, who messes that up.
This is the last time I'll visit this Leona's. I'll go to Pizza Capri. The parking sucks but the drinks and service surpasses this place.

I'm rating today's visit 3 stars. I give a 1 point for each category as follows, 2 points = 1 star
Vibe (1 Point) Good vibe, family friendly, and comfortable.
Accessible (0 Point) No automatic doors, semi accessible for wheelchairs.
Decor (1 Point) Nice decor of vintage pictures of Black Culture.
Cleanliness (1 Point) Yes the restaurant was clean.
Staff (1 Point) Our wait staff was very nice and pleasant
Food Service (0 Point) Pizza was prepared and served before the appetizers. A number of mix ups with ticket, charges, and timeliness of food served.
Food (1 Point) The food was average, but good. I ordered the vegetable pizza, mozzarella logs, and tiramisu. Peach margarita was weak but tasty.
Price (1 Point) Good price for drinks $5 each during happy hours. Food was average. Happy Hours are Monday through Sunday from 6p - 10 p. 10% off if you order online.
Would I make an effort to return? (0 Point) I will return out of convenience, but I will not make an effort to return.
Would I take someone their to make an impression? (0 Point) Not by far.

Once one of my favorite places to eat, I hadn't been to Leona's in years. Dining here was like visiting an old, dear friend and wondering why I didn't keep in touch. My favorite is the pasta Alfredo with a side of meatballs in marinara. I don't drink a lot, yet even I thought cocktails were a little on the weak side. Otherwise, I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service.

I usually have a good time here. But they must be under new management because the service has deteriorated seriously. We waited almost ten minutes for the waitress to take our order and she didn't seem to be listening when she did take our order. We had to remind her more than once to bring water, lemons and butter. She told us we had to pay extra to get more bread & butter. But after we said we would pay, she didn't bring the bread. The drinks were made poorly and tasted unusual.

I went there on June 17, 2016 with a group of 5 other people. I was not impressed with their service. The waitress (I assumed she was new because she could not provide some minor details about some items on the menu ) brought me buffalo wings when I ordered Wing Dings. Since I love all types of wings, I decided to keep it anyway. I tasted the first piece, that was the worse buffalo wings I ever put in my mouth. They seem to come from a frozen box, they were breaded and they just poured buffalo sauce on them. They were extremely salty and no taste at all. I asked to speak with the manager, he or she never came until I decided to get up and walked to the waitress. I told her, well, since it was not even what I ordered, don't bother calling the manager, just let me try the Wing Dings. She brought it a few minutes later, they were not impressive either. I honestly wasted my money going there. The others in the group did not say once that their meal was good or something. I refrained from asking since I am the one who brought them there and I was not pleased myself.

Food staff prices were great. I've never gotten over the smell. Everyone seem to be enjoying themselves. Families were meeting for birthday celebrations. But were I was seating I could smell where someone had mopped with bad mop water or something spoiled.
