Mad River Bar & Grille

The Drag performance was great! This is not a review of the drag show. The bar, food, and service was very average. Over $50 for bottomless is expensive especially when only available for an hour! (suppose to be 1.5-2hrs) There are better/cheaper places with bottomless. Host was dismissive. I asked for a water and never got it. I was unavailable to eat the food which was greasy meat and eggs (but I don't completely hold that against them since it my preference). In the end....I only had the drag performance to enjoy...for $50.

Sunday's Drag brunch was so AhMaZing, I simply couldn't handle it. We had too much fun enjoying the entertainment. When I say entertainment, I could simply say it did NOT disappoint. But rather EXCEEDED ALL EXPECTATIONS and then some. We had soooo much fun. The ladies were beautiful, funny and quitr talented. There were a mix of people who were in the crowd and which made me very happy to see. Diversity, yas! The concept is simple which now I get it. They have to keep it simple bc of how much is going on. The food is what it is, EVERYONE is served the SAME food FAMILY style. You get: Bacon, Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Biscuits and Breakfast Potatoes. You also get a side of French Toast and an order of Avocado Toast with Bacon on top. This also comes with Bottomless Mimosas. Its good, I would suggest either eating before yu come or enjoy what is served bc as I saod before it is very good. Just simple. We hung out at the bar, which made for a more in yur face experience so we had an opportunity to see EVERYTHING! I say this bc if seated at a table and depending on location, there are obstructed views.

This place is below average - no matter what you're there for. The place has several identities... a drag queen bar, a sports bar, and a restaurant; It is great at none, just below average at all. They constantly run out of food, drinks, and space in possibly the most frustrating ways possible. They claim themselves to be a Michigan/Eagles bar but will ALWAYS run out of beer, wings, and Jameson in the first quarter of any of those games. The service here has always been awesome but the management sucks - go somewhere else, anywhere else.
