Rangoli Indian Cuisine

The place has a good ambience and the service was quick, efficient and friendly. The food itself was very tasty - well-prepared, correct combination of tastes and spiciness, etc. The Gobi Manchurian appetizer was mouthwatering in taste, crispiness etc. The quantities were a little too less, but nothing else to complain about as far as the food was concerned. Parking on the street was free and plentiful, one more advantage over the complete chaos of Devon street.

Can’t ever order from this restaurant again! It’s extremely spicy and not edible unless you’re the kind of person who can drink a bottle of hot sauce without any issues. They advertise 3 different spice levels on Uber Eats when in actuality, there is only a single spice level ( Extremely! spicy ). I verified this with the hostess at the restaurant via a phone call. I informed her to please either change that or at the least please stop misrepresenting to customers. Food was so spicy that it had to be disposed.

Had food ordered from Rangoli via Grubhub. Rangoli manages their own delivery so they sent their driver who doesn't follow contact less delivery instructions. Bangs hard on the door (scared my kid) and then when I asked for contactless delivery he threw food at my door. Now when I look closer at food bag he seemed to have spat on it. All of this I reported to Grubhub and they helped take care of charges as we threw food away but I am surprised to receive call from Rangoli to argue over charge vs apologize to customer for their driver unacceptable behavior. I definitely am not going to them in future but caution others from ordering food from here. Delivery Driver now sending threatening messages on phone.
