Ruth's Chris Steak House

Great Steakhouse. I mean the atmosphere is very chill and elegant, especially for night dining. The steak was so good! It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Pair it with one of their many sides and you got a meal that you won't forget. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to celebrate a special occasion. I was there for my birthday and it'll be one I'll never forget.

I had lunch in a very deserted restaurant on New Year's Eve. Despite this, there was a wait to get a table as the staff was busy on the phone. This gives an unfortunate first impression. I picked the prix fixe menu, consisting of a soup or salad and 6 oz. steak with shrimps on top and a side or mashed potatoes or spinach. My choices were a seafood gumbo (tasty, but not the best) and a rare steak (cooked just right and very tasty) with mashed potatoes (also very tasty, but the amount of butter was a bit worrying. Service was good and friendly, if not as attentive as I'd expect in an empty restaurant. Cost around $42 including tax and a standard 20% tip, excluding drinks.

Ruth's Chris is now my favorite steakhouse. I have now been to many locations (including New Orleans, Denver, and now Chicago). I had another great experience. I had the filets it was wonderful. They were busy for a Wednesday evening, but the atmosphere was perfect. Be certain to save room for the white chocolate bread pudding. As always, the service was excellent!

Double Lobster tail and steak was well cooked. Lobster being especially tasty. Bobby the server was attentive and very nice. Very Elegant and nice as I was reminded to remove my hat. When ordering the steak be prepared for them to under cook the steak a bit. I suppose they save money because you can always cook it more later but impossible to go back once it's done. So I ordered a med and received med rare. Which is fine by me because I knew they would do that. I believe someone who didn't know that would possibly freak out a bit. Wonderful place to visit for a specialty dinner or celebration. I really enjoyed my time.
