I always Love going to Hawkeye's in the early afternoon when it's not overly crowded and busy. All food was fresh and well prepared. I enjoyed a Greek salad and the chicken tenders. Our server, Vince, was very friendly, pleasant, and attentive. He even surprised me with a slice of Cheesecake for my BDay. Thanks Vince for a Wonderful experience!!

Hawkeyes is a nice bar spot. Noting over the top but it’s a bar. Our server, Vince, was attentive and immediately gave my friend a birthday cheesecake when he understood it was her birthday. The drinks were tasty. I had the SW Salad + Chicken. The overall salad was good. The chicken needed more seasoning for it to be Southwest. The dressing aligned with the salad was awful. I’d recommend a new recipe there. My friend had the Mediterranean salad and chicken tenders. I will asume the food was good. It was all gone! 😂 And, no complaints! 🤣 Hawkeyes is a cool place. They also have another party space in the basement. I’ll be back.

This place is good for cheap shots and decent bar food. It can get a little hectic here because of its proximity to UIC and the United center. But over all, the food quality and prices are great for a bar outing.
