The server was nice and polite, she kept checking on us. The food was good and fresh. I would recommend this place.
Very accommodating for a large group. Friendly and quick service.
The portion size of each dish was good and not overly greasy as well. The prices felt a little overpriced.
The atmosphere was cozy and clean.
The pancakes were very light and fluffy. The bacon was crispy and the scrambled eggs were a little on the plain side. The coffee was fine.
The other dishes including a breakfast skillet and the eggs benedict were favorites in my group.
We just ate here and holy cow the food was amazing. I HIGHLY recommend the smoked salmon omelette! That dish made my whole week look better. They also had gluten free pancakes which is great for me. The coffee was also great, I couldn't get enough of it.
It's a groovy little joint that feels very comfortable. The only negative I would say we saw was that our server wasn't really attentive or friendly. But, in her defense, it was a pretty busy morning and she kept up just fine.
Try this place out, we had breakfast but haven't tried any other meals.
Wow this sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. I had the Reuben and the beef was so beautifully sliced, so tasty and juicy and there was heaps of it, and the kraut was great. They kept it very classic also, which is refreshing these days. Piping hot and delicious, served in good bread. Great atmosphere which straddles diner and cafe and gives you the best of both. Friendly fast service too.
Recommend: had breakfast here, different eggs Benedict. Everything tasted good, and service was good. Would recommend stopping here for a bite. No complaints other than it was a bit warm inside as the sun was getting up and shining.
After I went to the movies, I decided to try this place out before I returned home. I was blown away. I had a delicious burger with cheese and mushrooms and I enjoyed every single bite. Juicy burger, well seasoned and cooked to perfection with sweet potato fries on the side. Paired the food with a delicious Vanilla Shake. Everything was amazing! Definitely a top place for me when I return to the movie theater. Try this place out!

Such a cozy, family owned restaurant that serves delicious comfort food, breakfast menus, shakes and home baked goods like pies 🥧 chicken 🐔, pot pie, burgers 🍔 and omelets.
All portions here are generous and you can order iced latte drinks and smoothies too. The two owners here are the father Paul and his son Paul Jr. and they are always at the restaurant greeting their customers every single day along with their helpful staff.
If you like a casual atmosphere and enjoy traditional American diner cuisine you will definitely appreciate the vibes and good food!
I come here frequently whenever I get my nails done next door. I have never been disappointed and my favorite dessert here is their cherry 🍒 pie 🥧
I ordered the portobello sun dried tomato omlete. Absolutely fantastic. My kids got French toast. Cute place. Good food. I'm satisfied and pleased.
We live in Wisconsin, but every time my wife and I spend a night in Chicago, we come to Cornerstone on our way home. First, it's away from downtown, which is always nice to depart. The interior is quaint and inviting. The staff has never been anything but overly friendly and accommodating, and the food has always been great. I like the tofu scrambler (though I like it with scrambled eggs!). The French toast is legit. Good selection of juices and smoothies, which can replenish after Chicago mayhem. Our only complaint was that my wife said the bathroom was kinda dirty the last time we went. We'll be back the next time we visit that garbage city to the south! Go Pack Go.
Awesome brunch. So happy to have found this Greek spot. Best French toast I’ve had in so long. Hash browns are perfect & crispy. Warm & cozy inside with a family friendly feel. Great service
