In the heart ❤️ of Lakeview there lies a gem 💎 💎 ! I have been come here since 2015 with my wife and must say they’re the best breakfast/lunch spot in Lakeview. Here are some photos of my last visit! I love their coffee with cinnamon wow great touch!
We really enjoyed our breakfast at Esencia Urban Kitchen. The chilaquiles, morning wrap, and lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious and the coffee had a slight cinnamon flavor that was wonderful. We can’t wait to visit again.
Nice spot for breakfast! The servers were all super friendly and helpful. I ordered the whole wheat pancakes and a chamomile tea. Tea was great and came out in a small pot. Whole wheat pancakes were fresh and delicious! Plus, large servings for what the price is!
Walked in and was seated right away! Great food- I got the Lemon Ricotta pancakes and they were very satisfying. Light, fluffy and a crisp edge! The flavor itself was awesome reminded me of home cooked food. The coffee was incredibly delicious- infused with cinnamon (Latin American style) and don’t worry, the refills kept comin! This place is perfectly quaint and unpretentious. It seems to be a small team, but the service was 12/10!! Will be back to try more!
This is a staple breakfast spot we've been coming to for years. The French toast is the best I've ever had and the lavender latte is amazing! It's always a treat coming here.
Service can be a little slow so if you're in a hurry this is not the place to go if you want to dine in. It is understandable though because of the small kitchen, and I'm sure all of the employees are working as efficiently as possible with the resources they have.
Inside is small- if you have a stroller you will need to fold it up or leave it outside. Outside patio is great but yellow jackets can be vultures on warm days.

We had the torta, egg & pesto and salmon sandwich their regular drip and an americano because I'm not into the cinnamon in my coffee, which means no refills. Everyone enjoyed the food, i understand the salmon was a bit overcooked but still good. Great service, with a smile. It's BYOB!!
Service was great, coffee is excellent with the added cinnamon but not overdone, and the 4 different dishes we had were great. We were only in town for the week and ended up eating here twice. It's cozy and can fill up quickly but we loved it!
Small place with reliably great food! Super friendly and attentive service. First time went around 11:30 with my husband on the weekend and had to wait only like 20 minutes. Second time came at 10:30 with a friend on a Saturday and had no wait. I’ve had a few things there but my favorite is the poblano eggs - I wanna smother that sauce over everything.
Surprised by the selection here. Great little place with a very cute a light decor. Small place but big in flavor. The food is served fresh and not too long of a wait. Mostly accommodating with altering the menu a bit. Wish more vegan options or ability to choose vegetarian or vegan. I believe that would fit even better to the different palettes and food allergies
Otherwise I will opt to try again as I love the neighbor, location and the warm and friendly staff here.
Great breakfast/brunch/lunch place. It is on the smallish side so there maybe a wait to get seated. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly but a little slow, so if you're in a rush, I would recommend ordering your food to take out ahead of time. All-in-all though really great food and friendly, I'd definitely go back and highly recommend.
