Celebrating my friends birthday at Daisies was perfect. The staff is so incredibly friendly as well as passionate about the menu. We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of wine. The flavor profiles in every dish had such complexity, I was wowwed with every bite. The food was flavorful and fresh. Can't wait to go back!

Overall Daisies is a solid restaurant that is worth checking out. The vibe trends to a higher-end cafe and non-pretentious casual look. The price point does not reflect the ambiance. We had the onion dip with homemade chips (delicious dip with thick ridge chips that were a bit salty) and the brussel sprout salad which were both delicious. 8/10 We shared a gnocchi pasta which was quite flavorful though a little on the softer side of classic gnocchi. The flavor profile definitely blended between savory and herbaceous. 8/10 The highlight dish? It definitely was the pork collar. That was AMAZING. Tender, flavorful and paired well with the puree. 10/10 Overall for the table of two we spent +$200. BE AWARE a 25% service charge is included in the bill, though this is noted on the website and menu.

Daisies was a really great experience and I'll definitely be back. I'd also say that it's a great place to bring friends and family who are visiting Chicago. The service was phenomenal, and I really like the atmosphere in the new location. The food was outstanding — I would highly recommend the fritto misto, the agnolotti pasta (delicious beet flavor without being overpowering) and the pork collar (super tender, seasoned pork paired with delicious apple bites). Highly recommended!

Loved the little treats at the end! All the flavors we had all night were unusual and interesting. The fermented tomato rigatoni tasted almost like a tomato kimchi jam. Generous portions and overall good time.

Listen, the hype is real -- this is the best restaurant in Chicago for a reason. The way they prepare vegetables is extraordinary, some of the best pasta I've ever had. A very cozy, not fussy, fine-dining experience. 🔥 A traveler's five-stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had the most amazing experience here last night and found my new favorite restaurant in Chicago! So very deserving of their recent Michelin Green Star. We got there about an hour before our reservation and decided to sit at the bar until our table was ready, and the bartenders were so friendly and nice with helping us pick drinks. I ordered the Aperol spritz from the NA section and the orange peel and grapefruit made the drink taste so much like an alcoholic spritz that I asked the bartender to confirm there wasn't any alcohol in it! The ambience inside was lovely for a nice dining experience–not too loud nor quiet, and we were pleasantly surprised with the house music playing in the background (we love house lol). When we sat down at our table, the food and service was excellent. We ordered the onion dip with ruffles and the focaccia with tripe as appetizers and then got the raviolo carbonara and the black truffle and chicken skin ravioli to share. Everything was amazing, and you can really tell Daisies puts an enormous amount of care into sourcing the best ingredients with the way everything tasted. I especially loved the tripe, which was the most amazing texture that wasn't too chewy or soft! The ravioli had the best balance of flavors and we really liked the hints of mustard seeds. The raviolo was also excellent and the lemon zest on top was a really nice touch! We also got the apple cider donut cake for dessert (no pic since we just dug in) which tasted so great and not too sweet. The service throughout the meal was so great, and we really felt so taken care of. Our server noticed that we were a little cold sitting by the window and so asked if we would like tea, which was a nice gesture and very much appreciated! In conclusion, I had such a great time at Daisies last night and can't wait to go back to try more of the dishes! Thank you, Daisies! :)

Absolutely get the shaved brussels sprout appetizer, refreshing and delicious. Also had the onion dip with house made ruffles as I’m a fan when restaurants do their take on common food items. Worth it if you’re into that as well. Pierogi with mussels and garlic is A+. Online reservations through Tock requires a $10 deposit/pp. This gets taken off from that final bill. Refundable if cancelled or changed within 3 days of reservation date. Mandatory 25% service charge, but the service was great so 🤷🏻‍♂️

New location is open, airy, comfortable, and elegant while not being intimidating. We all got different pastas which were exceptional, and accommodating for vegetarian and vegan diets. The watermelon basil refresher is an excellent nonalcoholic cocktail. Good location for a date night as well as night out with friends if you want a food and service focused experience

Great place and ambience! We had a great time. Food was amazing, beyond of what we were expecting…. Ordered different things to share. Started with beef tongue and shishito peppers, loved it!! Papardelle with mushrooms ragú was perfect for the season, fresh and earthy one of my favorites! Agnolotti were perfect, with a perfect balance of flavors and sooo delicate! spaghetti alla chitarra lacked a little bit of flavor. Everything else was good. And the cocktails… specially the mushroom margarita…: to die for! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Pasta is divine. Plenty of creative dishes, but at times, the sauces were too rich. Definitely recommend the pork dish though: it was mindblowingly tender.

Daisies lived up to its hype! I dined solo and it was hard to narrow the options down. The portions are generous. I started with the chips and onion dip as well as the potted carrots. The chips/dip are a must! Such a simple, classic recipe well-executed. I debated between the potted carrots and the leeks but ultimately went with the carrots since they seem to be somewhat of a signature dish for Daisies. The gnocco was pillowy and light. The potted carrots were just ok for me. While they were unique, I expected a bit more flavor out of them. I took my server’s recommendation for the rigatoni. The fermented tomato sauce and smoky nduja paired well and the homemade pasta was ::chef’s kiss:: As a solo diner, I only ate half of everything I ordered and took the rest home. Service matched the excellence of the food. I look forward to my next visit!
