Everything you get here is a little better than anywhere else. The Italian and Classico subs are so delicious! They have many options at the deli counter for hot and cold foods, and I will try them all eventually. The service is amazing, which is a definite part of their success. The patio has a great vibe as well. It is definitely worth the trip, if you are not nearby.
First time here. A good friend told me about this place and I must say "EVERYTHING " I bought it was wonderfully prepared and fresh. Waiting til Wednesday to purchase more items. Service was great, store very clean , food was wonderful. The Canolli cake and Canolli cup cake were so yummy. Thank you, Mrs and Mr. Greco for telling about Notolli.❤️
My favorite spot for sandwiches. The cold subs are out if this world. But the hot subs are amazing. Try the steak sandwich. It's breaded and mouth watering. And there is no better Italian sausage
This Italian deli has been around for 4 generations, Vito "2 Fingers" Fontaine the Famous Wrestler now runs it for his family.
We got the 12 inch Italian Beef along with the 12 in Pot Roast & lordy are they full of meat.
Also, had to have a pound of their Vodka Rigatoni that was so darn delicious 😋
If you have never been to this marvelous Italian Deli you need to make sure you go at least once, you'll come back for sure.
This place is unreal. Only been here twice and I don't know why it took so long to revisit. Everyone's already told how great the food is so I don't need to (they're all correct). This is about the service, the only reason I've seen poor reviews...
Old school good customer service is certainly hard to find nowadays, I'm the first to echo that. Yet, I also feel for the folks who work food service, especially when a place has listed a closing time and someone comes in a half hour before, expecting the world. Here's what happened today:
Place closes at 4 now, I get there at 3:30 (humble, not expecting much will be left - there's one difference people), they were still full open, one couple ahead of me. I wanted a beef, not knowing if they'd still have any left (they did). The couple ahead of me wasn't from the area and ordered a bunch of food to eat in. To eat in! I would think they'd say no way but Nottoli set a place for them! As in, no rush! That's above and beyond in my book. I got my sandwich to go (best beef I've ever had, and will be back weekly to try everything, if the paycheck allows) and these folks were just sitting down.
This place is one of the best I've ever been to (in the country!)! Every employee I've ever encountered has been nothing but polite and professional; again, way above and beyond!
***Added to review, as I forgot to mention - the owners/operators respond to the reviews, all of them, INCLUDING the bad. Absolute professionalism, hands down, one of, if not the BEST businesses (food related or not) left in the country! Above and beyond! They actually CARE! All businesses could learn a thing or two from here!
Nottoli's Italian sub might not look like much from the outside, but then you peel it open you got homemade salami, prosciutto, capicola, mortadella and provolone. Absolutely fantastic sandwich - why anybody in the area would ever go to Subway is beyond me.
There is usually a line so order a head if you've been here. People are great and food is legit authentic. I need a sub 1-2x a week. Also bread is baked fresh and typically sell put daily. This place is worth the wait and money.
A little delicious piece of 🇮🇹 Italia. A must go for lunch. My favorite is the chicken parmesean sandwich and pick up some authentic Italian ingredients for your home recipes while you wait for your food.
You want things Italian? This is THE place to go. Sausage, deli, pasta sauces and many other items. Open only Wednesday thru Saturday 9-4. Seems it's always busy. And that's good for them. Their original store was around the corner from our house on Chicago's west side. 70+ years in business. Drive, walk or run. Just get there!

Not only that Nottoli himself - third generation came out to take a picture and discuss the history.
