Great atmosphere, excellent and original flavor combinations, and some of the best house fries ever! Definitely worth a visit.
First time in Chicago with my husband. Crepe Bistro was the very first place we went to and we absolutely loved it. The service was great and so was the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant when coming to downtown Chicago.
Very inexpensive for the amount of food. For example, for $9 you get a crepe that covers a plate plus a good soup. The pictures show the feel of this location. Kind waitress with an intriguing accent, good food, good dessert, good location. I recommend.
Also, we went on a Sunday. Definitely open on Sunday, though current Google hours say otherwise.
Never had crepes like this before. Both the savory and the dessert crepes were delicious. Big though; if you're not super hungry you can easily split a crèpe. Wonderful service from the waiters as well.
Highly enjoyed. Our crepes were delicious, fresh and served with an excellent side. The space is excellent. Our service was attentive and friendly. Recommend the ratatouille, and the Nutella crepe for something sweet!
Most visit. The food is sooooo delicious. And yes, they have savory crepes. I had the Katmandu crepe. Everyone at my table love it.
Love this place! I usually take Russian Plate and cappuccino here, both are perfect. Great service!
Very intimate seating. I ordered a savory crepe in which I didn't know was a thing and was very pleased with it. Portions are plentiful. I went with coworkers and they all enjoyed their choices as well. Food came out super fast which was a plus since we were in our work lunch hour. Overall a good place to visit. Looking forward to going back with my kids!
This is an awesome place. It has become one of my Chicago standards. The martini's are fantastic. The food is delicious. They play a rocking mix of 70's and 80's music. They have a really excellent house salad for $5 which is rare. The crepes are large and delicious. Good food, lightning fast service, great drinks, awesome music. Do it! It's my favorite after work drink spot. The prices are really good too. Definitely where I take my friends. So good!
Decent crepes! I had the ham and cheese (with Swiss) and the crepe is a little thicker than I was used to and very filling. It was still delicious! They had a $4 whiskey special which I had and it was a great deal. Their tomato basil soup should be called garlic chowder because that's actually what it tasted like but it was still quite good just not what I was expecting. Still worth giving them a try, they had a nice neighborhood bar type feel. Be forewarned that their information online is not accurate - martinis with house liquor are now $7, not $5.
It's hard to be objective about a place you've been coming to for years. The martinis are cheap and strong, the crepes are top notch, the service is fast. The Crepe Bistro has a special place in my heart for sure. Great for lunch or dinner. If you're lucky, the accordionist will be there.
This place the best crepes along with the $5 martini deals which makes it very appealing. Good martinis and great crepes. They just need to resolve the issue with the smell when you first enter the restaurant. There is this propane gas smell for some reason, other than an excellent place for lunch,
