The staff are very attentive, kind and hospitable. Second time coming here and the food is truly delicious. We had the hummus, lentil soup, lamb shank and honey salmon. All were unique and very tasty!!! Definitely look forward to coming here again.

Really delightful and unusual brunch option in Chicago. Such variety for the Kurdish breakfast! And everything delicious and fresh. The wait staff is almost entirely young, Middle Eastern men and they are all at the top of their game. It's a little on the pricier side coming in at about $30 per person, but it's a nice treat

Delicious brunch option compared to the classic American version. Highly recommend getting the Kurdish Brunch and just sit back and enjoy the show. The dipping sauces/jam/butter are amazing. The cheese sticks are a standout, and there’s a vegan friendly version. My wife loves this place!

I've dined at The Gundis Kurdish Kitchen for brunch several times, and each visit has been consistently delightful. The attentive and helpful service has always stood out. The Kurdish breakfast set is a must-try, with its amazing flavors complemented by a tasty black tea. And if you have a sweet tooth, the baklava crepes are a true delight. I've never had a bad experience here, and I highly recommend it for a satisfying brunch experience.

The dining experience at Gundis Kurdish was very enjoyable. We stopped by for Sunday brunch around noon, and even though the restaurant was bustling, we were seated fairly quickly. The service was efficient and attentive throughout, and the restaurant itself was quite spacious with lots of natural light.
The brunch offerings were fantastic. The Turkish Coffee was bold and rich, while the Kurdish Coffee was more sweet and creamy. The Sharable Sampler was a definite highlight, showcasing a variety of dips, with Baba Goulash particularly standing out. The soft scramble with lamb and Soujouk were both flavorful, and the fries that came with the entree were a delicious addition.
All in all, it was a solid dining experience with great food, generous portions, and attentive service. We look forward to returning and trying their dinner menu next time.

Delicious food and awesome ambiance! The plates are definitely shareable! The staff were very hospitable and helpful in choosing some of their most popular dishes. We ended up having the chicken and lamb which were both flavorful and super delicious! The sampler is good, I have personally had better but it is still worth a shot! You must check this place out it out!

Had breakfast here today for the first time and it was an excellent experience! We ordered the Kurdish Breakfast for Two, the Baklawa crepes, and the fig and walnut pancakes. We also had the Kurdish coffee and tea too. Everything tasted delicious. Seriously, I'm still dreaming about it right now. Everyone who served us was very kind and attentive. We can't wait to come back here when we're in Chicago again someday!
