Summer House Santa Monica

Super cute spot for brunch! Great environment as well as excellent food. We got the Mexican hash browns and breakfast tostados split. I will say I liked the breakfast tostados more. The hash was slightly different than I was expecting, so would get something different next time. Lemon cookie was a bit cakie if you like your cookies that way.

Bright and sunny California themed atmosphere paired with creative cocktails and some good seafood options. Also an amazing bakery, get some cookies! Went for lunch on a Friday and it was packed so I'd recommend making a reservation even for lunch. The calamari was perfectly cooked, and the poke bowl and fish tacos were amazing. Most people were ordering some of salads which looked huge. Will come back to enjoy some of the larger entree options.

Summerhouse Santa Monica is one of my favorite go to here in Chicago! It’s perfect for brunch - family friendly, great for dates, and so fun for friends get togethers. Their service and food is sways fast and delicious, but what takes them to the next level is the atmosphere. This west coast, beach inspired restaurant is always bright and naturally lit! The plants and decor takes you out of the brutal winter of Chicago! Let’s not forget the dessert shop right in the front! You can’t leave summerhouse without grabbing a sweet dessert to go! Only thing to consider is difficulty of parking in the area! There are valet, but if you plan to park in the neighborhood, give yourself extra time!

I recently dined at Summer House Santa Monica in Chicago and had a delightful experience. Started with some incredible bread, followed by a delectably cooked tenderloin beef served on creamy mashed potatoes. Not only was the food top-notch, but the atmosphere was friendly and vibrant. Located in a charming area that especially comes to life around Halloween. And if you have a sweet tooth, their dessert selection will surely impress. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere, lovely summer vibes even on a rainy fall day. Love the changing menu, nothing ever disappoints but the breakfast tostadas are my fave! Staff is over the top service and very attentive. Awesome food, compliments to the chef!! And those desserts are to die for, never go home without stopping there first!

Our server Devante was excellent he catered to all our needs. My friend wanted to move to a better table and he made it happened. I ordered the three egg breakfast, with turkey bacon, and diced hash browns. The turkey bacon was really good. Ordered a bottle of champagne for mimosas. For dessert a cinnamon roll from the bakery👍🏽👍🏽.

We had a group of 5 dine in at Summer House Santa Monica, and we all had a wonderful experience. For appetizers, we had guacamole & house-made chips and parmesan-truffle fries. The guacamole was fresh and tasteful. The aioli that came with the fries was amazing. For entrees, we had the classic margherita pizza, organic sausage & fennel pizza, and rigatoni alla vodka. All the food we had was delicious! Before you leave, make SURE to get something from the bakery! We had the birthday cake, double chocolate cloud, and lemon cookies; all were so fresh and delicious! I drank espresso martinis, and I really liked them as well. The ambiance inside is exceptional. The decor, vibe, and feel of the restaurant was a large part of what made our experience so wonderful. Our waiter was friendly and attentive to our table. The bathrooms were very clean, which is a plus! I 10/10 recommend Summer House Santa Monica, I am looking forward to coming back!
