We’ve been to almost every restaurant she’s put out. All are absolutely amazing in its own way. This place is necessary to visit. Make reservations early in advance. The service was outstanding. The food came out at a perfect pace. Great place to share items. Will be back.
The dim sum brunch was very good, and the interior of the restaurant is decorated very nicely. We ordered four dishes, the chilly chili noodles, the duck spring rolls, the beef and bone marrow pot stickers, and the BBQ pork steam buns. They all were excellent, with the standout of the bunch being the beef and bone marrow pot stickers. They had great flavor and a wonderful velvety texture to the filling (I assume because of the bone marrow). Definitely would recommend reservations as it got busy very quickly.
Amazing food, relaxed atmosphere and several waiters to accommodate our every request; even with a packed house on a Saturday evening.
We had several items off the menu to be eaten family style. Everything was very flavorful and filling! You could taste the excellence in every exotic dish. Highly recommend this experience 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+
This place was quite busy on a Tuesday night and we had to wait 15 minutes for our table despite a reservation, but it was totally worth it! The food was great! We started off with the goat and shrimp shumai (which was so flavorful and fantastic) and another dumpling on their day’s special menu. For our mains, we got the duck fried rice, which was amazing, the pekan chicken and the chongqing chicken which were also good. This was definitely more food than 2 people needed though, and we did not venture into dessert. I really liked the decor and the service was quick and everyone was very polite! Would definitely recommend!
Did the Saturday dim sum brunch here and was not disappointed at all. The jiaozi was a table favorite. Really well-balanced cocktails. Tried a few but the one that stood out was the snowbird refresher. Traditionally, nonalcoholic, but I had them add a shot of vodka 🤌🤌🤌. Everything pushed the boundaries of what to expect from that type of cuisine. Will definitely be back.
The brunch is sooooooooo good! Everything is full of flavor. We had a variety of dishes and all of them were hits. Tender, buttery, flavorful are words i would describe everything we had. So many great places for photo ops too.
I have been here several times for dinner but this was my first time for brunch! This is no doubt my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Each dish just has so much flavor. You definitely should come here with a medium to large group so you can get a bunch of things to share! My favorite is the jiaozi with bone marrow.
Such amazing food!!!!! Amazing service and a really cool/funky vibe. We loved all our food but the start was really the scallion pancake. That hoisin sauce was so very on point!!! And the pancakes were so crispy. Really good. I would add rice for the cauliflower. (We forgot). It was all served perfectly!
Amazing decor and friendly staff.
I went with a large group. Food was okay.
Dishes are pretty small in portion. Great if you prefer to try multiple dishes in the menu without getting full.
MY MUST ORDERS: Duck Fried Rice, Xiao Long Bao, Hong Shao Rou
Just always such a spectacular experience here. Being Chinese myself, I usually have very high expectations for south/east asian food but this is one place that continues to surprise me.
I’ve tried something new every time I’ve gone, and continue to be impressed and surprised by the quality of ingredients and unique flavours. Cannot say anything bad about the food, service, or atmosphere. Just a wonderful Chicago restaurant!
