We’ve been to almost every restaurant she’s put out. All are absolutely amazing in its own way. This place is necessary to visit. Make reservations early in advance. The service was outstanding. The food came out at a perfect pace. Great place to share items. Will be back.

The dim sum brunch was very good, and the interior of the restaurant is decorated very nicely. We ordered four dishes, the chilly chili noodles, the duck spring rolls, the beef and bone marrow pot stickers, and the BBQ pork steam buns. They all were excellent, with the standout of the bunch being the beef and bone marrow pot stickers. They had great flavor and a wonderful velvety texture to the filling (I assume because of the bone marrow). Definitely would recommend reservations as it got busy very quickly.

Amazing food, relaxed atmosphere and several waiters to accommodate our every request; even with a packed house on a Saturday evening. We had several items off the menu to be eaten family style. Everything was very flavorful and filling! You could taste the excellence in every exotic dish. Highly recommend this experience 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+

This place was quite busy on a Tuesday night and we had to wait 15 minutes for our table despite a reservation, but it was totally worth it! The food was great! We started off with the goat and shrimp shumai (which was so flavorful and fantastic) and another dumpling on their day’s special menu. For our mains, we got the duck fried rice, which was amazing, the pekan chicken and the chongqing chicken which were also good. This was definitely more food than 2 people needed though, and we did not venture into dessert. I really liked the decor and the service was quick and everyone was very polite! Would definitely recommend!

Did the Saturday dim sum brunch here and was not disappointed at all. The jiaozi was a table favorite. Really well-balanced cocktails. Tried a few but the one that stood out was the snowbird refresher. Traditionally, nonalcoholic, but I had them add a shot of vodka 🤌🤌🤌. Everything pushed the boundaries of what to expect from that type of cuisine. Will definitely be back.

The brunch is sooooooooo good! Everything is full of flavor. We had a variety of dishes and all of them were hits. Tender, buttery, flavorful are words i would describe everything we had. So many great places for photo ops too.

I have been here several times for dinner but this was my first time for brunch! This is no doubt my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Each dish just has so much flavor. You definitely should come here with a medium to large group so you can get a bunch of things to share! My favorite is the jiaozi with bone marrow.

Such amazing food!!!!! Amazing service and a really cool/funky vibe. We loved all our food but the start was really the scallion pancake. That hoisin sauce was so very on point!!! And the pancakes were so crispy. Really good. I would add rice for the cauliflower. (We forgot). It was all served perfectly!

Amazing decor and friendly staff. I went with a large group. Food was okay. Dishes are pretty small in portion. Great if you prefer to try multiple dishes in the menu without getting full.

MY MUST ORDERS: Duck Fried Rice, Xiao Long Bao, Hong Shao Rou Just always such a spectacular experience here. Being Chinese myself, I usually have very high expectations for south/east asian food but this is one place that continues to surprise me. I’ve tried something new every time I’ve gone, and continue to be impressed and surprised by the quality of ingredients and unique flavours. Cannot say anything bad about the food, service, or atmosphere. Just a wonderful Chicago restaurant!

We had reservation and got seated inside. Great vibes, although it seems cramped with all the tables. For food, we had the Duck and Goat spring rolls and the goat slap noodles. They were so yum, especially the noodles. We then had Crispy banana dumplings and Strawberry, Guava and Coconut ice-cream for dessert. The service can be definitely better - although food was delivered fast, our server kept disappearing whenever we needed something.

What the Duck this place is good! Imagine some of your favorite dishes elevated to a level beyond belief. Their cocktails were amazing. I stuck with the witch doctor and boy did I feel healed after that. If you really want to try this place, you’ll have to get reservations way in advance or luck out by cancelations. Every dish I got was just so next level. I wish the Chongqing Chicken came out sooner because it was soooo good. But man was I full by then. Also that chicken numbs your mouth so having a drink with it can make dinner a lil extra fun.

Absolutely loved this place and was surprised at how great it was, especially after hearing little about it but constantly hearing about Girl and the Goat. I’ve been to both as well as Cabra and I think Duck Duck Goat is by far the best one of Stephanie Izards’ restaurants. The food here is delicious and full of unique, complex flavors. I wish I’d gotten more pictures of the food but we ate it too fast! We got Duck Hearts (pictured), Jiaozi, Xiao Long Bao for the Dim Sum - all tasted great! Then the Dan Dan Slap Noodles and Hongshao Rou (pork belly) - wow!! We order pork belly often because it’s always so good but this has such an amazing sticky glaze that you could eat pieces of inside the mandarin pancakes like a little taco. The noodles were so rich and flavorful, definitely the best Chinese-American noodle dish I’ve had. The plates weren’t even that expensive and everything was very filling. For dessert we had some cookies and guava vanilla soft serve for free as a birthday gift. I can’t recall the other dessert name but it was a mango shaved ice that’s super light texture and delicious with fruit on top. The food is just outstanding. The atmosphere is great too, beautiful place. The only thing that’s a little downside is the tables are very close together, but since it’s pretty busy and there is music it doesn’t feel like you have no privacy at all. The service was great too, they explained everything and I heard servers making recommendations to other tables if they asked. This place needs to get even more recognition!

My first experience was ordering in. The delivery was on point so much that I had to go and sit down with my mother to experience in real time. Beautiful pictures on the walls. Decor everywhere was eye-catching. customer service was BEYOND great. Food was amazing and way inexpensive and high quality. Went for the branzino. Yummy. I cannot wait to go back.

Cool spot with excellent service and food. We stopped by for brunch and enjoyed their dim sum dishes. The goat soup dumplings and duck spring rolls were uniquely delicious. Plus every dish came with awesome condiments! Our server was super sweet and attentive, great experience overall.

This is my new favorite comfort food restaurant. Friendly wait staff, the ambience is romantic, and the food is to die for. This place also has a lot of nonalcoholic beverages on the menu, so if alcohol isn’t your thing, you won’t feel left out. This is a special place to us because my husband and I went here on one of our first dates. We are married now and came back and sat in the same place. It was so fun to reminisce.
