7-eleven

You'd think that a 7-Eleven is a 7-Eleven, but that's because you've never visited this location. I'm not surprised to see other reviewers rated this only 1 star. The owner/manager is rude and argumentative as if trying to live up to some stereotype. As a compliment to her attitude the store layout is unique in its poor design. The employees I interacted with were very pleasant and deserve a better place to work. The store layout as noted is very odd, apparently structured primarily for customers buying gas, not for typical 'convenience store' customers. Prices on snack items are 5-10 % higher than other area 7-Elevens, perhaps a local tax structure issue. As a final f-you to customers, the handicapped parking spot was clearly an afterthought installed only because the law requires it, not to help anyone or make life less difficult. In fact, it makes things worse because it is at the end of the building as far from the door as possible, and the cutout for the ramp is likewise at the most distant point from the entrance.

Google needs to REMOVE THIS LOCATION FROM MAPS!! This store is No longer Open!! It's just half gutted with a dead car sitting out front along with lights on for appearance only!! I thought it was a nice night for a walk and this place seemed close to my location.. but to my surprise there was no signage, pumps were bagged and inside the store, things were in shambles and appeared half disassembled.

Cashiers don't greet you. They hardly acknowledge you. I have stood in line waiting for someone to ring me up and I was the only customer in the store multiple times. I ended up buying 6 month expired milk today. Make sure you check the expiration dates the food items before you leave the store. I was on my way to work so I would've been late trying to return it. That's the last time Id ever come here. I'll drive a few more blocks to go somewhere else.

Worker called me rude and got into an argument with me because I placed my ID on the counter with the back up so his coworker (a female) could scan it without ever having to touch my ID. Was considering cancelling my purchase midway as I got off of work an hour prior at 5AM and shouldn't have to deal with harassment before I head home to sleep. Female coworker I was apparently being rude to did a good job and I think he was just being overdefensive because he likes her or something or misjudged my intentions on race.

I went to purchase a coffee and $10 worth of gas. Got the coffee. Went to pump the gas , non was dispensed . Went back to the cashier/"manger" (Kathryn). She develops an unmanager like rude attitude. She states that the gas was pumped . I then requested that she review the tape. She does and returns only saying that the register shows that gas has been pump. I told her the video shows otherwise .

ufb... every pump I tried was broken, only gave me 30 cents to a dollar on each pump; then refused to give me a receipt.... As I pulled up my phone to leave this review, my wife decided to call. Seven attempts later, they pick up and claimed they were really busy (they had 2 customers in the store.. we were sitting in the parking lot), and stated they knew all their pumps were not working, but it was too damp to put up signs, except on the door of the store. Note: there were 5 other cars at the pumps, probably having the same experience. Can I give negative stars?

I've bought too many items that have gone bad without opening within a day. The night staff has a very rude cashier. The prices are really exorbitant. Your average item is marked up at least double than the Food Lion & the 24 hour Harris Teeter down the road. Thrice the average price in Roses in the shopping center next to it.
