Surf Dogs

My husband and I were on our way home from Moyock and were looking for some place to have some real ice cream. Somehow, he spotted Surf Dogs as we were driving by. He saw that they served ice cream as well as food so we decided to take a chance and turn in. What a pleasant surprise. Friendly servers, a wide variety of flavors, and the best prices around make this our new "go to " place for a sweet treat! Next time I plan to try a burger...freshly patted out daily!

Went in just after noon. We were greeted and sat right away. The menu board is a confusing jumble and the staff is supposed to tell you what the cute names mean as there are no clues given to tell you what comes on the different burgers, very confusing. After ordering we were ignored for over an hour, the staff took our order and basically hid from us. The food took over an hour to arrive at our table with items missing. When I asked for a refill of my drink my cup was filled to the brim with ice, I asked for ketchup 3 times before receiving it. The food was not good, no seasoning and for the price it should have been better and larger portions. Left very disappointed.

Went on a whim on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was hoppin! Adorable decor (I love dogs) and much cleaner than before! The owner was behind the counter and so was a sweet young girl who greeted us right away with a smile. We had a cheeseburger and buffalo chicken wrap with onion rings. They were perfectly cooked. The burger was a freshly patted out burger, definitely not frozen. Then we couldn't resist some ice cream! Strawberry shake was thick and made with their strawberry ice cream not vanilla with syrup. And a hot fudge sundae with Hersheys peanut butter cookies and cream ice cream. Of course topped with whipped cream and cherry....mmmmmm delicious! Drinks were always filled, service was friendly and quick. Definitely a must stop place. Kid friendly and clean. Loved it!
