Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

Very impressed with the taste and freshness of my dinner. I ordered the sushi bar special that consists of 2 chef rolls, miso soup, and l side salad. I went on a busy Saturday night so it took about 30min for the food to be ready. There were lots of people waiting to be seated. I got the happy roll and the sunset roll (substituted the eel for more salmon). Both were delicious and I liked the way they made them. The avocado was extremely fresh in the sushi. Even the side salad had very fresh pieces of lettuce. Really enjoyed this takeout dinner. Came out to about $19.

Celebrated an event and reserved the back room. The set up process was fair, the young lady who answers the phone could learn to be more friendlier to callers but inside the restaurant she was fair. We were accommodated well. The cooks and bussers were phenomenal! We were entertained! Had a great time. I will be back when I am in town!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. This place has gone down hill and was absolutely disgusting on 4/17. The veggies were soupy and the food was bland. 7 out of 10 people in my party got chicken and 5 out of the 7 have all had food poising over the past 3 days, my husband is still dealing with it and one person couldn't even make it home the same day cause they got sick. The restrooms were extremely dirty and smelled horrible and that was reported from both the men and women's room. I will not be returning here and I have submitted a report to the Health Dept.

The food was good, the service was pretty mediocre, but EVERYONE that was part of my party that had the chicken is now dealing with some kind of stomach issue. I’m not claiming food poisoning yet, but my wife and myself are now home sick from work with stomach pain, nausea, and all the other nasty things that go along with “food poisoning” that I’m not claiming yet, but I won’t be going back.
