Excellent steaks, tried the Dry Aged Sirloin Au Poirve...cooked to the temperature we wanted. Enjoyed the Grilled Asparagus as a shared plate. For appetizers the Shrimp Cocktail, 5 plump shrimp and a very tasty cocktail sauce. Service from Rosemary was excellent!
Dry Aged Porterhouse Steak*. A very tender and flavorful steak.
A fabulous all-around dining experience!. The bride & I were casting around for a nice dinner place last week to celebrate the arrival of the first grandchild. After checking this site, the #1 rated restaurant in the area was the Capital Grille. Located in the Cherry Hill mall, the experience began well with complimentary valet parking - always a nice touch. We were greeted warmly and professionally by the staff and seated promptly. The waitperson, Ria, appeared immediately. Very personable and efficient, she got us our cocktails and left us to ourselves when she realized we were not in a hurry. When we ordered a short time later, we needed some help with our wine choice. The sommelier came to us and, in a surprise move, raided a wine tasting that was going on to get us a taste of what she was recommending - which was excellent and matched well with our meals. The food was phenomenal! The bride had the Filet Oscar - perfectly cooked to her order, topped with a heap of beautiful lump crab and a lovely bearnaise sauce accompanied by tender steamed asparagus. In a meat mood as well, I ordered the Sliced Filet Mignon with cipollini onions and wild mushrooms. A perfect medium-rare and seasoned with the ground porcini used on the Delmonico (I asked. "No problem, sir. Glad to.") The mushrooms and onions - delicious. During the course of the evening, it came up that we were in NJ because of the grandchild. Without prompting, they gifted us with a piece of the Flourless Chocolate Expresso Cake with raspberries, Melba sauce and whipped cream. OMG! So good! The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. I would heartily recommend this restaurant!
One warning - it is expensive. I am not wealthy by any means, but I do not mind spending money for value received and this meal was worth every nickel, but if you are the kind of person who thinks that food shouldn't be expensive no matter what the quality level, well, there is a Red Lobster right around the corner. Just saying...
I wad at the restaurant with a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed their. Some had the steak which they each enjoyed. Some had the crab and lobster cakes which were delicious. The lobster was fresh and very tasty. The sides were all great, the creamed spinach, the asparagus, the mashed potatoes and the Parmesan cheese french fries. Normally I don't eat dessert but I thought I try. I wasn't disappointed. The cheesecake with fruit, the key lime pie and the chocolate hazel cake all were very delicious. I can't wait to go again.
We went for lunch. My wife had the tomato mozzarella salad and I had french onion soup. Weboth had 8 oz. filets. Food was great but service was little sketchy. For example, the waiter cleaned up the crumbs from the hard rolls that were in front of me but not my wife. Weird!!
Great atmosphere and great food. You leave full and happy. One of my favorite restaurants in South Jersey. Order the Kona crusted steak
High end steak and seafood restaurant which is always top notch. Service at the bar was great and very professional. I started with the burrata and heirloom salad and it was so delicious, and a ginormous plate, I couldn't even finish. I failed to say we also got the bread basket (complimentary) and the molasses and onion bread are so good and served with a pat of butter topped with flaky salt, yum. My husband got the fried lobster appetizer as well as the crab cocktail. Beautiful presentation and he said both were truly amazing. We were both full, but decided to split the roast chicken with mushroom risotto. Amazing. I know hard to believe but we also got a side of mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. Definitely a five star experience! Oh, dont forget to get one of the fabulous drinks!
Great atmosphere. Great service. Beautiful presentation of the dishes. See my photos. Our steak which was supposed to be medium rare was not done right. (Raw center) they gave us a complete steak and lobster dinner to go in addition to refireing the not done steak. They took care of us but lost a star on not right the first time.
Well the entire parking lot across from Capital Grille was reserved for valet parking, so we parking to the right of it and had a small walk.
We made reserve rations while enroute and was immediately seated once inside.
We had a great server who told us our specials and frequently checked on us. We ordered the salmon, crab meat cocktail, lobster & crab cake, mashed potatoes and a Cesar salad. Everything tasted so good that I forgot to take pictures. Everything had flavor and came out piping hot. Prices aren’t bad and service is great. Was so stuffed couldn’t fit dessert.
Okkkk this place was another bucket list place for me!! And….I LOVED IT!!! Every single bit!!! Clam Chowder actually had clams in it! Smooth and creamy. Perfectly cooked NY strip, mashed potatoes buttery and seasoned with a slight addition of black pepper. Cream Brûlée was AMAZING!! Fresh fruit that felt like they had a garden in the back of the store. Service was extremely good perfect balance of attentive but not annoying by Sara!!
It was VERY busy, and very loud lol. Our waitress I’m sure had other tables, however it did seem as though she was rather absent. I didn’t catch her name. However Juan (the “busboy”) was VERY attentive to our table even though he wasn’t even our waiter! GREAT personality! Gave him a tip and he wasn’t even our server lol. The food wasn’t bad at all! 6.5/10 would come on a less busy day.

The most amazing service and food I’ve ever had. Sara, our waitress, was amazing, attentive, and the nicest human being. My parter and I went for our anniversary and the folks there were so kind in helping us celebrate the occasion.
Capital Grille was highly recommended. We were so happy with the service and food. Thank you for making our 25th Anniversary dinner so special!
Five star dinner and service is the norm at Capital Grille. Had our anniversary dinner and we were treated to complimentary champagne and dessert. Had lobster bisque soup which was not on the menu so we were pleasantly surprised. New York strip cooked to perfection and the Sea bass was delicious. Have been here several times and it is well worth it. Great wine selection.
