Mr. Sushi

Can't give this place enough 5 star reviews. I absolutely love it here. The food is ALWAYS top notch quality. The friendly staff are amazing too. Last time we were in there Jane took a liking to our toddler son and gave him a lovely happy/good luck cat ornament. He loves it so much it hangs up in his room now and every morning he says hello to it.

This place is always good and the more I try other places, the more I appreciate this one. BYOB and all you can eat sushi. It’s always worth it to get the all you can eat Vs ordering individually unless you typically only eat one roll. Hibachi items are always good as well. Haven’t been here since the pandemic and looking forward to going back one day.

They have parking right in front of the restaurant so that is a pretty convenient thing, they also take credit cards. They are a ALL YOU CAN EAT sushi place. You come in, they give you a menu that you write how many items you wish from that Menu of items available to you. The decor is nice and the staff is very friendly. We got tea and we loved the fact that they actually gave us a whole tea kettle, we loved that, we had plenty of tea.... Now the food. from what we had is what I will draw my conclusion on this place and my experience. KANI SALAD/SPICY KANI SALAD- they both come with crunch, the regular mani is pretty good, but the spicy on had the nice kick! SHUMAI- the shumai here is boiled not the fried type, I was not a huge fan, although I do not mind that it was boiled, the problem for me was the fact that the seafood inside the shumai is pretty scarce I felt like I could tase a bunch of vegetables and that was not what I was looking for on a shumai, I like the seafood and onion taste and the one they serve here is definitely no living to my expectations. CREAM CHEESE RAGOO- this was an impressive item for me, it was nice, plum and FILLED with cream cheese. this one is definitely a winner in the game SASHIMI- the sashimi was ok, not the freshest I ever had but passable VARIOUS SUSHI ROLLS- I do not remember the names of the specific one I got none the less here is a WARNING, all of the rolls here are extremely large! they make the rolls real full of rice and other items, so ordering more than a couple of rolls will fill u up real fast. COCONUT TAPIOCA- this is one of my favourite things here, it has a look of a sweet soup with tapioca balls, it may be bothersome for some as far as consistency, cause it feels like having a stop full of tapioca, but the taste was amazing at least for my taste. Over all this is not the best place I have been, the sizes of the rolls were a big let down for me cause they made impossible to try and sample more than 2 rolls as I got super full quickly, but overall the taste is ok for an ALL YOU CAN EAT place. not a bad experience. they can improve for sure, but it is ok as is.
