Amazing!!! Tasty and good prices! Came for the burrito stayed for the salsa bar. The food is authentic and the service was so kind and helpful
My husband and I Love it here. My go to meet up after work with friends, laid back. Love the side bar of sauces, salsas, and jalapenos. only place In Chattanooga I can find that makes good/ great fish tacos. What you order is not zero taste then smothered in cheese. it is real food, tasty, and amazing
Don't let first impressions fool you...upon entering we were very unsure about staying looked like an ancient fast food place but so glad we did. The fact that there were locals & their food looked great definitely helped. We had the steak nachos which were great accompanied with combo tacos & chimichanga frita ended with a flan which was unlike any flan we ever had was actually a piece of pie. All of this for under $30 & we left with leftovers which you had to pay .25c for the container.
Really good Mexican food that tastes like its made with real ingredients that were retrieved from close by. Food tastes like you got invited to someone's house to celebrate some big happening. One of the main reasons that I don't order enchiladas at most places, is because most places have dried out corn tortillas and it makes the enchiladas almost uneatable. Enter Taco Roc to restore my faith in the restaurant enchilada. Don't go here looking for service of any kind because it's not that place, however nothing should give you the impression that it is that kind of a place. Its just a go to the counter, place your order, and someone brings it to you-type of deal. But trust me, the food here tastes really fresh (nothing tastes stale or half-done) and the prices for what you get make this place a no-brainier.

This is the only place in Chattanooga I know if that offers truly genuine Mexican food. Nothing compares. The tacos and tortillas are to die for. There is a bit of a language barrier sometimes because I don't speak much Spanish, but the end result of having the food in front of me and in my tummy is all that matters. After eating here, I can never eat in one of the watered down, American Mexican restaurants that are on every corner. This place is the real deal.
Those of you who have not had an al pastor (seasoned pork) from Taco Roc need to immediately drop what you are doing and get to this place! Words can't describe :) make sure u get corn tortillas and top with onion, cilantro, lime, and tomotillo sauce. Only then will your life be complete :) and yes it is that crucial
Great place. I'm staying at a motel up the road. Been here two months so I like to walk to Taco Roc at night for dinner. I eat here about three times a week and really like the food. I usually get something different every time. I love the salsa bar. The staff is very unfriendly though and don't thank you and say very little. I'm a regular and see the same people over and over and they remain unfriendly. They drop the food off at the table, I say thank you, they say nothing. Oh well.
I don't even like Mexican, but this food is mouth watering and yummy. The nachos are to die for. Only problem - language barrier in that they don't always comprehend the specifics of the order and it ends up wrong -- again. We get takeout there once per week and it would be nice not to have to open all the containers before leaving to make sure our orders are correct. Listen to your customers, Taco Roc.
Good service, good food. We had a shrimp and avocado salad (they make their own dressings) and fish tacos. Everything was fresh and tasty. Service was great too.
Great place! Went here with my brother and a buddy after mountain biking over by Volkswagon and we we were all sweaty and wearing shorts and t shirts and were starving and wanted a beer or two for a reasonable price and this place was perfect! I love the menu because it has a lot of dishes that are cheap so you can choose multiple dishes to try. The people were friendly, the music was cheery latin tunes, and the food was reAlly great. You can get a side of guac for a dollar. If you are looking for a laid back authentic mexican restaurant this is definitely a home run.
Definitely love the variety of plates and a pic to help you decide. Really liked it. Will have to go back to taste more. So far what we have had has been good. The kids chicken bites were not to their liking...too dry. The other 2 dishes were not bad. Kids helped us eat ours and they liked it. Will definitely go back to try something new

This is our second time here and are super impressed, even more so than the first time. #20, their street tacos, are to die for. An awesome family business with good quality food and good prices. Highly recommended.
Delicious, authentic food! The nachos are my favorite! I live out of town now, and Taco Roc was the first place I wanted to eat when I came into town! Not a lot on atmosphere, but the food makes up for it!
I am so glad a friend told me about this restaurant. The food was delicious, the portions were huge, and the prices were more than reasonable. If you want authentic Mexican food don't pass this place up, you will love it.
