Real authentic soul food straight from the dirty south made by people of the culture who have been doing it all there lives. Real dirty south sweet tea and all the fixings. Daily specials and great service from an awesome staff.

Tried it after I googled "Soul Food". I ordered the chicken and dressing with Mac and cheese and Collard greens...OMG that was the absolute BEST tasting food I've had. I highly recommend if you want some real soul food.
Only complaint is the long wait for the plate.. next time I'll call ahead instead of walking in.

Nothing fancy, just good food. I had the whiting plate with cabbage and pinto beans, served with a griddle cake. I didn't know cabbage could be so flavorful. The staff were friendly and the vibe feels familiar. My fish was fried and ready to go in less than 10 minutes. Check this place out when you get tired of the local-organic-gluten free-sustainably sourced-natural yuppie fare.

We went there a week ago for the first time. It was wonderful. The food was delicious, hot and reasonably priced. Friendly staff and great experience. Wish they had delivery service we would eat from there often.
