Well this is certainly a place that lives up to expectations. A truly inviting, unique, and warm experience. First, Geraldine and chef Phillipe cater to your dietary needs. Gluten free, keto, vegetarian, they can make the entire 7 courses work! Chef Phillipe comes to your table to take your order and explains each plate-- you never see that anywhere else! This is a full dining experience so do not come here in a rush; it will probably take a minimum of 2 hours to get through the seven courses. Dress up, be fancy, bring a bottle of wine, and enjoy yourself.
Price is absolutely reasonable and you will completely get your money's worth. We were stuffed at the end but still had room for desert! Also, It's cash or check ONLY so don't forget!

What an unforgettable evening we had. We were worried the weather was going to force us to cancel our special celebration, but we were able to go. Geraldine was a fantastic host and was even able to accommodate a request for our favorite dessert. The food was excellent and we very much enjoyed chatting with Geraldine. The price was reasonable for a multi-course meal with quality ingredients. If you are looking for a special evening with a leisurely dining experience, make a reservation to dine at La Cabriole.

My husband and I went there tonight and had a wonderful time. The service was great and so was the food. My husband got salmon and he said it was cooked perfectly. I had chicken and it was also cooked perfectly. All of the courses were so delicious. We are so full and happy. The experience doesn't end after the final coffee course, Geraldine brought chocolate, a rose, and more when she brought the bill. We had such a beautiful experience and will be back for sure.

I really loved it. Very clean place. The chef was amazing. I have food allergies so they made sure to fix food i could have. My husband took me here for my birthday, and the owner even played happy birthday for me. They give plenty of time to eat each dish before they brought out the next. I dont drink wine but you can bring your own bottle. I drink water and my husband drink some wonderful lemonade then coffee with desert. We hope to come back with some friends. It was nice to have one on one with chef and owner.

Delicious dinner! Things you need to know: make reservations, bring your own wine/drinks other than water, they take cash or check only, 7 courses, dress up, and you can make requests for certain foods.

If you are looking for a true one of a kind dining experience where you can relax and eat 7 courses of edible and very tasty artwork, La Cabriole is for you! Beautiful French Cuisine with southern hospitality. When I had first emailed the restaurant about reservations, Ms. Geraldine responded in a timely manner, went over the menu options for the main course and asked if we had any dietary restrictions (which I really appreciate since gluten doesn’t like me). She also explained how guests can bring their own wine and they will open for you there at no extra charge. I told her my husband and I were not drinkers so she made sure and had a bottle of sparkling grape juice there for us (which we love)!
The restaurant is located in a very peaceful countryside valley with an awesome view of the mountains.
We were welcomed by Ms. Geraldine standing on the porch ready to greet us, take our coats and walk us to our private table right in front of the fireplace. While we ate, French music played in the background. The food was a delicious art!!! It started with a tomato bisque soup followed by an appetizer, then bread, then filet mignon for the main course cooked to a perfect medium rare. We were then brought salad, a 4-cheese plate with more delicious gluten free bread just for me! Then we were brought dessert and then coffee. The best part about the experience was Ms. Geraldine and the chef who cooked and served us. The chef ensured we had knowledge about our food and how special and meaningful each course was to the mind and body. They made us feel so special by learning the true art of serving. After the coffee we were brought our bill (she made sure we were ready for the bill first) on a silver platter with a beautiful red rose, 2 chocolate truffles and a beautiful handwritten breakdown of the cost. Ms. Geraldine also asked if we could sign the guestbook, which of course I was excited to do so! If you want a truly romantic atmosphere and a quiet place to relax and get some QT with your spouse, here is your spot!

My husband surprised me to a delicious 7 course French meal for our 3 year anniversary. I had great expectations for this restaurant as our honeymoon was spent in France and wanted a taste of that experience again. La Cabriole delivered!
We were first welcomed by Ms. Geraldine while French music played in the background. The seating was comfortable and she even gave us the option to choose which table we preferred. We did not bring any wine because I am pregnant, but you do have the option to bring any wine you would like and they will open it and chill it for you if you need. Seeing we did not have wine, Ms. Geraldine quickly brought us a bottle of sparkling apple cider...such a sweet thought.
The food was absolutely delicious. It started with a tomato bisque soup followed by an appetizer plate with quiche and veggies. We were then brought bread and salad. Just when I was starting to get full I was brought Chicken Piccata and my husband was brought Steak. Then we had a cheese plate followed by dessert and then coffee. We were so full, but so happy.
The best part about the experience was Ms. Geraldine. She made us feel as if we were welcomed into her home in the French countryside. She cooked the food herself, waited on us, and even sat down and talked with us about the restaurant history and her French travels for almost 45 minutes. She is a delight!
If you want a one of a kind experience in Chattanooga, then you definitely need to visit this restaurant.

My husband took me here for dinner on my birthday. We moved to Chattanooga a year ago and while we love it here we often miss being able to eat fine, great quality food. La Cabriole blew us away from the moment weestepped within its charming property. I don’t even think a lot of Chattanoogans know this place exists and I certainly think it’s a place that deserves to be promoted and elevated. It truly is a hidden gem as you normally won’t see this place appear in reviews unless you were specifically looking for it.If you are looking for a romantic date for two or an intimate celebration with friends this is the place to go.
Some key things to note though the host and owner, Geraldine, will tell you about this anyway when you call for a reservation- be prepared to pay only in check or cash; they do not serve drinks except for water, tea and coffee so please bring your own. It’s normally a 7-course meal so expect to be there 2-3 hours - if you are rushing this is definitely not the place but if you are looking to be in the moment, immerse yourself in meaningful connections with your partner or friends and of course the chef and proprietor this is for you. You are free to order any French dish to your liking and they will cook it for you, you just need to tell them in advance so they can source it.
The restaurant is literally off the beaten path and sits within the owner’s property. Inside you will be charmed by its French decor, Edith Piaf posters and old songs played out of a old music box. Its power to transport one to a time and place outside of our immediate premises was pretty amazing.
As for the food, they are fresh and top-notch from the gazpacho to the gravlax, the Steak Diane for me and Roasted lamb for my husband to the salad, cheese plates and dessert. Everything was just divine.
The whole thing really was an experience. Thank you Geraldine and Chef Philippe for making this evening one that we will remember and cherish in our lifetime.
