This is the best diner in town now, hands down. Excellent food, great service with a smile and reasonable prices. Their mashed Potatoes are the best I've ever had at a restaurant. Have yet to get anything there that wasn't spectacular. Definitely worth a stop if you're hungry and want some great food.

They really know how to cook. The food was amazing, every bit of it reminded me of when my granny used to cook for the entire family. I love this place.

This a great place to eat. They have a large selection of food to choose from that is affordable. The portions are huge so you won't leave there hungry. Everything is homemade. The staff is great and a family friendly environment. It was very helpful that they made sure my kids food came out quickly to keep them occupied and it gave me the opportunity to be able to enjoy my food as well. Personally my favorites there are the soups. Haven't had one yet I didn't like. And the fruit cups are always fresh and yummy. I wish I knew where they get there produce from because it's always good. Love love love this place. I highly recommend going. 👍👍

How does this place get such a high rating?? The food was DISGUSTING! DO NOT eat the crab cakes. Funny taste with hunks of celery and green peppers maybe, who knows.The cocktail sauce tasted like a can. The Mac and cheese was no better than a frozen Mac and cheese. Just straight up disgusting, waste of $16

Doodles Diner is a great, friendly diner with honest, tasty food! The service is genuinely friendly and the atmosphere takes you back to the days of true service. They are happy to accommodate groups! I had a bacon cheese burger and a huge mess of their delicious sweet potato fries! Yummy! If you are looking for real food prepared by real people who care about good food, this is the place to go!

Food was delicious! We ordered chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, bacon, home fries, and english muffin. Food came quick and service was great! We were there on a Sunday morning around 11am and got a table immediately. Will be visiting again when we are in Charlottesville.
