This is a shame, as I had a lovely experience here a year ago, but the service and quality have apparently gone downhill. Normally I’d try to inject some humor into this, but can’t even manage it this time. For relatively fine dining, the service was sub-par. Water went unfilled for 30 minutes until i stood up and to have the waiter pay attention to us. Had to repeatedly wave down the waiter for new drinks - at only one point were we spontaneously asked if we needed anything. Constantly saw waitstaff standing around talking with one another, so no legitimate excuses there. The food was ok, but there were numerous issues. First, The size of the bison steak was misrepresented- I was told around 10 oz and received 5-6 oz. This was important to me as I had skipped lunch. Additionally, the steak came overcooked. The risotto was hilariously tiny. Do not spend $24 on this dish if you expect anything more than a sample. One of the ordered risotto’s came undercooked. The duck breast came out basically raw. Typically this dish should be served medium rare. Pink in the middle is fine, but nearly fully raw? I’m no expert, but serving raw poultry invites plenty of risk. Finally, my grandmother complained about her raw duck and was laughed at by the waitstaff. She’s not the most polite, but really? Overall, would not recommend at this point.

One of the few places downtown that does Saturday Brunch. Eggs Benedict and Waffles were both amazing. The bacon is also really good I think it is smoked.

First, let me be clear by saying the food is awesome! I had the duck breast. it was one of the best I have ever had and I get duck every place I can. Second, the atmosphere was great. We sat in the basement (formerly a speak easy) and it was super cool. The only reason its not a glowing five-star is an echo of some other feedback. None of us (two adults and two kids) were full when we left. We all enjoyed our main courses and two had the clam chowder as an appetizer along with another shared appetizer. Something as easy as a bread or salad option with the meal may have made the difference. Overall, definitely a great meal!

Everything we ordered were delicious. Especially the fries. We ordered second fries. The service was excellent. Only funny thing was that there was a small bouncy ball came from nowhere and hit the wall and dropped on one of us. About 1-2 mins later another small bouncy ball hit the restaurant window next to the couple sit not far from us. A waiter reported to the manager and the manager called the police and reported the incident. Like the restaurant very much and highly recommended.

Great food and excellent service! We had cocktails, appetizers, and entrees (the bison steak is amazing!) and would definitely eat there again. But it also had a smokey atmosphere (literally). We had dinner in the basement part of the restaurant near the open fireplace, which was not ventilating properly. So we all smelled like campfire when we left the restaurant. Would sit upstairs on a future visit.

Atmosphere was solid, service was good, and food was tasty. However, the reason for the low rating is the comically small portion sizes. My wife ordered butternut risotto and received maybe a half cup for $20. She's a light eater and commented on how little food was served. I ordered the $40 grilled bison steak, which again tasted great but it was a couple thin slices of meat served with maybe four small fingerling potatoes and a couple small pieces of broccoli. No sort of bread served with the entrees. I literally was still hungry when I left which is rare for me. I will say one person in our party got a hamburger which seemed reasonable for $15. But unfortunately won't be returning based on value.
