My husband surprised me and made reservations for our anniversary here and everything was heaven sent! I did the wine pairing which was a fun way to explore the food. The complimentary appetizer was delicious! We also got a surprise soup and mini dessert for our anniversary which was so thoughtful! My husband is still raving about the lobster sauce and I was very happy with my tenderloins. Romantic and quaint spot! We will definitely be back :)

We come every year to celebrate our anniversary and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It is the place to go in Charlottesville to celebrate the best of times. The sommeliers are fantastic and clearly knowledgeable, the food is smart and well executed, and it is generally a pleasant, comfortable way to spend the evening. A wonderful experience at Fleurie! The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is incredibly attentive and educated about their offerings. The attention to detail is astounding, the courses are served with wonderful timing.
The chef started out with sending out these beautiful little nibbles. We choose the seared sea scallops and the sunchoke and mushroom cassoulet. I will forever refer to the sunchoke cassoulet as the 'Pot of Yum'. Have you ever had anything so amazing, that on the first bite you close your eyes and your sensory nerves scream "yum"? Tonight, this happened for me. That cassoulet could cause world peace.
For our entree, we had the Chilean sea bass and the vension loin. The tangy cabbage with the tender venison was an amazing pairing. The crispness on the sea bass and the incredible sauce.... there aren't enough words.
For dessert we had the apple tart and lemon cheesecake. The tart was incredibly thin and light but packed with delicate but enormous flavour while the lemon cheesecake was utterly decadent. To top it off, they sent out a plate of petit fours.
Tonight was our 2 year anniversary and I'm so glad we were able to have a table at the incredible Fleurie.

My husband and I got lucky to have dinner at Fleurie as a reservation got cancelled and we were able to get a table. What an amazing experience holistically! From the welcome platter to the house-made bread to the appetizers followed by the main course that looked like a piece of art and tasted beyond any description topped off with apple crumble with homemade ice cream and another platter of deserts!!! Setting and ambience were equally enjoyable. Service surpassed our expectations as all of the wait staff worked as a team and were top notch professional, attentive and polite! We are not from Charlottesville but will for sure make a reservation and visit Fleurie next time we are here as it is truly a treat! Thank you to all who made such a wonderful dinner experience happen!

We decided have our date night at Fleurie and we could not have been more pleased with the atmosphere, service, food, and the knowledge of our server in helping me to choose a wine for the night. The food was indescribable, melt in your mouth delicious and we will certainly be visiting this place next time we are in town.

Prix fixe menu was fabulous. Can’t go wrong with any of of the dishes. Beef carpaccio and lamb chops were fabulous! Reserve wine pairing is a must. George, our waiter, was great and Chris the GM elevated the wine pairing experience significantly. Thank you Chris!! Will definitely be back in the future and a must stop if you’re in C’ville!
