Had a nice experience being a party of 5 adults and a baby. The atmosphere was very good, and the seating options are varied and many.
The bread was fresh baked and truly excellent, and the salad was tasty.
2 out of 5 entrees we're very good, 2 others were fine and the chicken marsala left much to be desired. It could be that I'm familiar with a different regional variant for the dish and was not expecting the right meal. The pasta sauce was interesting and tasted fresh in a good way.
The chicken Alfredo was excellent.

Moved here a year ago and I kept hearing how I need to try Vivace. Finally did, and We enjoyed it. We liked that they have an outside area (with fire heaters), a tented area along with inside seating. The pasta dishes we ordered were very good, perfect sized portions too. Wine choices we're also good. We enjoyed our waiter....all around 5 stars.

Went on Father's day and the place was packed. They were short handed so service was spotty and rushed. Wife ordered a salad and it didn't come until dinner was served. Great building and location, decent atmosphere and saving grace was the food was very good. The calamari was excellent and the meals were great. Hence a 4. A little pricey but expected with nice restaurants

We were a party of 5 adults and 2 kids. Service was absolutely terrible. We were sitting there for over 20min and nobody even came to the table to greet us. Finally the waitress came over got our drink order and brought some bread. The bread is the reason for 2 starts! Was delicious. But then again, it took the server a long time to co.e back and get our orders. Meanwhile the kids were getting fussy and hungry, we all got stuffed on bread. Finally food came, we got a shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and a carbonate. There were 5 shrimps in a huge bowl of pasta, and the carbonara was just a clump of past with very little sauce and was probably sitting in the window for awhile so the sauce dried and the plate was steaming hot. Very very disappointed.

Outdoor seating was fantastic. Bruschetta was good. and portions on the pasta were great. Andrew, our waiter, made the experience amazing. Special shout-out to him!

A long time ago, Vivace use to be an amazing retreat where one could enjoy excellent high-quality cooking and a cozy, peaceful, atmosphere. Unfortunately, all of that has changed. Perhaps new management? The food is worse than microwaved school or hospital cafeteria food. The noise level is absurd, especially when there is a table of 30+ frat boys screaming next to your table. I don't blame the staff, they obviously seem exhausted and are trying their best given the circumstances. But management has definitely let everyone down: short-changing guests with bad food and over-stuffing the restaurant. Please do better, this place has so much potential

We went there the day before made a reservation for our 27th anniversary. Was interested in this restaurant because website stated calamari dusted with corn meal as I am gluten free. Was told because of the forecast of rain we could only get a 5:00 reservation because they would not be able to have outdoor seating.Went there for 4:50 very few cars in parking lot. Was seated upstairs. Lots of empty tables. Our waitress seemed nice but lack quality. We wanted to start off with the calamari as it a gluten free item. She did not believe it was and wanted to see proof where it was written pulled up their website ‘dusted with corn meal’. She checked with the cooks it was more flour. She brought us bread no butter. Asked if we wanted to order something different. When you have your taste buds wanting something else it’s disappointing. We said we would just order our meals. Never asked if we wanted to hear the specials. Ordered Tour of Italy and Zuppa de Mare they would adequate; sausage over cooked, meatballs dense, 5 super super tiny whole clams in a shell, 6 mussels in shell, 6 shrimp, gluten free pasta great but more pasta than seafood. While eating few more customers came in heard another waitress offer butter with bread then reviewed specials with the guests. We left at 5:45 the place was not even half full. The atmosphere, the service, the food was disappointing the best thing we went next door and got a good tasting made to order coffee with super friendly service at Joe Shenandoah Coffee.
