I’m a bit conflicted on my review. The fried chicken was amazing, really some of the best I had! But the sides were a let down. Mac & cheese had zero flavor—had to go grab the salt and pepper. Mashed potatoes and gravy tasted good but were cold. After I placed the order, I was told it would take about 15 minutes, which was totally fine because I had time to kill, but it actually took 35 minutes. The chicken is made to order, which I appreciate, but they should figure out how to properly serve everything warm. Even then, I didn’t receive all of the chicken and she brought out more about 10 minutes later. She gave me an extra piece because of the wait. So I’d come again, but just for the chicken..it really was that good.
Atmosphere was just scattered, unorganized tables and chairs. They could do better and this place would have some really good potential. The staff was kind too. Hope this helps.
That first bite into one of the chicken thighs was everything. The food was delicious reasonably priced. The desserts were great too. I have no complaints about this experience. Highly recommended
The restaurant is super clean, the food is very good and well served. The burgers are the best I've ever tasted. The food comes very fast and very fast service. I loved!!!!!!
Super good fried chicken sandwich, all prepared in house and the price tag is super low! Highly recommend. They could put some work into the dining area though, but don't let that scare you away!
Great food, nice relaxed atmosphere and excellent customer service. Overall my favorite Chicken King. Beef liver and onions w/ gravy is the BOMB!!!@@@
Would give this place a 4.5 food was excellent. Mac n cheese was good but not great same with the collard greens

This place is the best! Opens early, closes late enough, home made food & sauces with really great prices and huge portions. It’s right up the road from me so I really lucked out! I will continue to come here because their burgers don’t come with onion automatically, which is great because I’m allergic
Pretty darn good fried chicken
The food was really good. I had ribs with beans and mac & cheese. All of it was really good. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food as well. Big portions for the prices too.
The person at the counter was friendly, but it's basically a self service restaurant. You order at the counter, seat yourself, get your own utensils/condiments/salt & pepper etc..
The seating seems almost cafeteria style, mostly long tables which can seat multiple parties. Not lot of individual seating.
Overall the food is definitely worth the visit.
