Duuuude! I had such high expectations and am shocked that they were far exceeded! The steak on top of my Mac and cheese fries was the best steak I ever had. The cheese and flavor hit all the way to the bottom of the fry pile. Beyond amazing. The serving is huge and can easily be shared by two. Immediately a top favorite restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

Stopped by yesterday with my family. My daughter never ate here, so we gave it a go.. The Burgers was hand-made, which was a plus for My Hubby, my daughter Got Cheesestake Friz... All the food was Amazing, Flavorful the Staff was very friendly and helped guide us into options to try.. My daughter loved it we'll Be Back 😋😋

Food was good. It’s a new business and it has room to improve, I’d say atmosphere is one. I noticed there was some sandbagging being done in the kitchen but it can be because of understaffing so hard to not understand. I would say keep doing what you’re doing, food was delicious and work on the small details . Next time I’ll try the Oxtail quesadilla and some of the other varieties of fries

If you ever go to Charlotte, NC you have got to try What The Fries! If you are a fry lover, this place will not disappoint. This was the first stop on my visit. They showed ya girl much love! I had the lobster, shrimp, mac and cheese fries. It was ALL good!! Then because I was celebrating my birthday, they gave me a free banana pudding. That right there brought it on home. MAAAAANN the best meal of the trip!

Absolutely the most delicious meal I've eaten in a very long time!!! This was my first time going & I will definitely become a regular. Loved the atmosphere and the staff was extremely friendly! They were very helpful with guiding us through the menu making delicious recommendations. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed with the selections. Look at the below photos and you'll understand why my belly thanked me. 😍

1st time at What the Fries! A co-worker suggested eating here and I'm so glad I went earlier today for lunch! I had the steak hibachi fries. They were so good! We tried a side order of the mac and cheese...it was great too. My sister had the crab rangoon fries and loved them. My nephew had the cheese quesadilla which had the decadent mac and cheese inside! To finish our meal, we all ordered the strawberry cheesecake bread pudding and the purple sweet potato bread pudding. Oh my...we loved it! I loved how the employees walked throughout the restaurant checking in on their patrons to ensure we were fine. Will tell others about my dining experience here. Please take my word (and my pics) and try it for yourself! You won't be disappointed! Can't wait to go back!

So I seen them on ig and said bet I'm there. I stay really far so the build up was real. There was a wait but not too long. The set up was a tad un organized but nothing that would prevent me from going back. I had cheese bacon fries and added shrimp the other had the same with steak. We split a crispy chicken sandwich. Fries were amazing although I felt the portions were small I could have been hurngy. the protein on both fries were tender and well cooked. the chicken sandwich was not a show stopper underseason and the bread while pretty was too much fir the chicken ratio. overall great people good surrounding get the fries you won't regret it

Love What the Fries in Charlotte NC. The service is fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Love the food too. My favorite dish is the lobster mac & cheese fries. We also had the crab Rangoon fries. They were good but would try something different next time! The chicken sandwich with hot honey was amazing- really crispy and well seasoned. Loved the bread pudding tots too! Would definitely get those again!!! Can’t wait to go back.
