Amazing place. We have been coming for trivia a couple times now and the food is always amazing along with the beer list having some good priced craft brews. Keep it up guys. Only thing I don't like is if you do not take shots at trivia (on a wed night) you can easily lose even if you beat everyone else in the actually trivia portion.. if you have to allow points for shots maybe consider adding some beers of the week that add points as well.
Came in on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 18. Bartenders were awesome! They hustled the duration of our stay accommodating everyone with drink and food orders all while keeping positive and friendly atttitudes. Food orders were a little slow which was understandable with our large group but definitely worth the wait. If I lived in Charlotte, I’d be a regular customer. Thanks Brass Tap for outstanding service and delicious food!
This place has a huge selection of beer on tap! The indoor area was accommodating but the outdoor area was legit. The enclosed heated patio with ample seating was lovely on a cold and rainy day. Service was pretty good also. Very attentive and checked to see if we needed anything a couple of times.
Food was really good. Along with the presentation on the plate. You dont see alot of these types of places care too much about presentation of the food. Bartender was really nice, and attentive. Issue I had was thier registers went down. Gave my card number to the manager and he said he'd email me a receipt. Still haven't received a receipt. Otherwise would return for lunch. Haven't drank here in years, so cant comment on that aspect.
Went for the first time last night. Originally went for a quick drink but ended up staying 2 or 3 hours. Great beer selection. Huge IPA selection. which I am a fan of. And they had great drink specials. Great service and atmosphere. The musician was absolutely the funniest guy I have ever heard. Unbelievable knowledge of music and guitar skills. Making jokes and singing requests the whole night. Will definitely return.
Taco Tuesday is the BOMB! Great selection of brews on tap as well.
The food is awesome. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drink menus. I love this spot.
Really solid service, good food, beers cold and the selection is wide! One of my favorite joints for a casual or some good grub! Oh and the bartender with the dreads, he’s the man! By far one of the best bartenders I’ve encountered! 12/10 would recommend to a friend!
$2 tacos were delightful, tap selection was great, service was fast (on a very busy night). However, my fiance and I traveled from out of town for The Office trivia night with our friends from Charlotte. The trivia was formatted very poorly, took *way* too long. The host also said he had never seen the show, which is weird for a themed trivia night. A few of the questions were plain incorrect and it was generally very poorly done. However, everything else was great and it was nice seeing some old friends over a few beers.
Good beer selection, my wife had the bold rock cider and I had a Wicked Weed. Service was good, slightly slow due to what appeared to be lack of staff on a Saturday afternoon.
Food was decent, noodles for cavatappi macaroni need to be cooked longer as the pasta was undercooked. Little extra seasoning (salt) wouldn't hurt. Hush puppies and the combo appetizer were both good! Beer cheese is great here!
Maybe less liberal on seasoning on pita chips. Herbs in chips isnt for everyone. I liked them, my wife did not.
Overall a decent experience.
Amazing taplist, although The Brass Tap was out of 50 percent of the beers we wanted to try. Solid food menu and laid-back ambience. Excellent service, courtesy of Lindsay. One of the few beer bars in Charlotte open at 11 on a Monday morning. We'd definitely come back!
Had a large party there for a Birthday last night and they were all wonderful. Allison, our main waitress, did an amazing job keeping up with all of us! Great food and beer, a comfortable laid back atmosphere and excellent service. Thanks Allison and everyone at Brass Tap!
