Chef Tara and her staff were extremely helpful and very professional. She came out and greeted the customers. The food was great. The atmosphere was great with friendly people and good music. I’m visiting Charlotte this weekend but when I come back I will definitely visit this establishment again. Local restaurants are the best and this one is no exception. Thanks!!!
I was actually impressed with the Food! Very Delicious. The customer service is excellent. Keisha was awesome. She took care of everything we asked and she was always busy. Not Lazy that is for sure. I left this Place Happy and Feeling Full!

I love it! Walked in and was greeted by Franco. Menus both in English and Spanish. Service was amazing and food was very delicious. This one is authentic very flavorful cuisines. This is my new favorite place. Special thanks to Franco who provided excellent service and made us feel like family.

I DROVE AN HOUR TO TRY THIS. When I walked into the restaurant, the natural light was very welcoming. The three individuals who were able to assist me were polite, respectful and wholesome. The energy of the place felt like home. I order the perfect rice, that was full flavor. The pernil was so juicy I couldn’t put it down. I was trying to save some for dinner, but ended up eating the whole plate. I could continue to praise this delicious restaurant, but I implore to give them a try. Only complaint I have so far is, that there wasn’t more. Still in shock
Yum!! Excellent, authentic Puerto Rican food. Loved the fun, colorful atmosphere, all of the photos and art, map and family name walls. Service was excellent too. We drove 40 minutes to eat here today and would do it again in a heartbeat.
We had steak mofongo, pastellios, sweet ripe plantains, rice and beans. As good as my abueltita's:) they made my daughter a "pink princess" drink which made her whole week (NA strawberry daiquiri with mango and cherries).
Highly recommend! It is a bit difficult to find as it's kind of tucked in, but follow the signs and you won't regret it.
My husband and I came here for the “mofongo con carne frita”. It did not disappoint!! Yummm
We also ordered a “pastel de carne de cerdo”. It could have used more seasoning.

This would be the second Puerto Rican restaurant I have been to here in Charlotte. No digs to the first one cause I loved the family feel of the first one and how sweet they were. Food was good too. But at Papi’s?! This place has some flava!!! We ordered the Mofongo con pollo frito and it was A-mazing ! My family also ordered the half rotisserie chicken and the chuletas. As well as some surullitos (corn fritters)and a alcapurria (wish it was more than just one) My one picky eater teen loved the food too, so good job! Our waiter, Franco was super cool and very helpful. Thanks for not disappointing Papi’s!
The atmosphere was great but the food was amazing, we immediately started eating once they put the food down. I got the mofongo with fried chicken, my kids got the pastelitos de pizza with arros con gandules and loved it. We also got a side of tostones and for dessert we got flan. All delicious!
Traveled from NYC I went on a Sunday around 5pm. This place made me feel like I was in Puerto Rico. The food and music selection was great. They were understaffed and still provided great customer service. The wait is most definitely worth the food. The chef is so sweet blessings to her hands and her business!
