'If you dont love it, let me know' - well, I LOVED the farm to table meal along with the local beer!! So glad I stopped here while traffic died down opposed to eating anywhere else!! :) they are great at what they do! Will stop by again when in the area!!! A++++
Happened to stop in here for a really late lunch after a movie with my mom and was very impressed! Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised! The service was super friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. The food was good and we were pretty surprised about the price! Their berry good salad was a real winner, and I wish I could have their strawberry lemonade shipped to my house!!
We love coming to Urban Cookhouse. They always welcome us with a smile and give us awesome service. The Local salad with grilled chicken is my go to. My husband's favorite is the Berry Good salad with grilled chicken. Salads and entrees come with orange sweet rolls that are so good! My company loves to get catering from them too. We can't say enough good things about them.

This appears to be a newer family owned restaurant where they promote locally sourced products (thumbs up!). The dining menu has something for everyone as well as a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Today I had the Strawberry Lemonade and it is really good! There is a really nice outdoor seating area as well. IMO Urban Cookhouse is a must try.
Urban Cookhouse, where have you been all my life?! The food was awesome! The service, is there a word for even better than awesome? A coworker mentioned "this new place" to me today, and as I was already headed to Park Road Shopping Center to shop, I stopped in for a late lunch and found my new favorite place. As a southern woman who cooks almost daily, I am often disappointed with restaurant fare, but not this time. Urban Cookhouse's food is wholesome and fresh, but seasoned and flavorful. Getting food this good, on a patio, with a glass of wine makes this the next best thing to home.
Love this place! Went for the first time with my family last weekend and the staff found out through someone else that it was my husband's birthday, even though we didn't say anything ourselves, so they made special desserts for the whole table when they didn't have to at all. Plus all the food is local, healthy and delicious! Would definitely go again!!
These people are amazing, whether we have them cater our events at Myers & Chapman in advance or call them at the last hour, they really do everything to make it happen. The food is wonderful, the service quick, so you can get in and out pretty quickly and it's always fresh! Love, Love the staff there, you can depend on them! Food quality and service are both great. They have creative menu items that are well executed on Big Green Egg grills. Good local craft beer selection makes for a great place to enjoy Charlottes local breweries. I’ve enjoyed everything that I’ve had here but recommend the buffalo chicken wrap and the broccoli salad side. Outdoor seating is really nice too, especially with a high patio ceiling that allows for eating outside when it’s raining.
I really didn't know what to expect when my wife and i stopped in UC for some lunch. But I'm sure glad we did! The food was very good, creative and fresh tasting. The staff was very friendly, helpful and very busy! Place was packed. We will be back!
Great menu, great service, great price and great food. I got the Urban Cowboy sandwich, and as we left I said, "this was a huge success."
If I had to make one suggestion: that menu basically demands an option for a side of fries, which wasn't an option as far as I saw.
But still, 5 stars.
