It’s like... If you like coffee, tea, beer, wine, breakfast, lunch, snacks, music and pretty much just a roomy casual relaxing atmosphere to hangout... There’s nothing to dislike about this spot! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️‘s Coffee and Chill!
Had a wonderful breakfast burrito and coffee here today. The staff was helpful and friendly. Unlike the previous reviewer I find the space very inviting and the bar stools just fine. I like the fact that it is spacious. It's a welcome change from the cramped space of the famous chain coffee place next door.
Can a club sandwich be the best sandwich you’ve potentially ever eaten?
My answer to that before coming here would have been “no chance“, but that was before eating it here with the sweet potato waffle fries. One of the best deli meals I’ve had in a long time and potentially the best I’ve ever had - and you can check my reviews, I frequent deli’s as often as possible.
The atmosphere in here really cool, great vibe with a bar right in the middle. Easy ordering system and super friendly people working here. Not sure what they did to the sandwich, but it was perfect.
Can’t recommend this place enough. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have an apple cinnamon donut to eat. 😉
Great place for coffee and pastries. The coffee is really good, and they bake their own pastries on site, and they are excellent. My favorite is the cinnamon roll croissant. On this occasion, I had the pumpkin waffle with brie whipped cream and candied pecans, which was outstanding. So delicious, it was worth the calories spent. It's seasonal, so get it before it's gone.
It's a huge place, so it would be easy for families with kids to be able to find seating and room to spread out. Also a great place if you want to get some work done on your laptop.
It's refreshing to be able to come here on the weekends and not have to wait in a long line and also be sure to get a seat. There is a large free parking lot across the street. It's also on the light rail line. I've been to other nearby coffee shops where there are always issues with long lines, lack of seating, and lack of parking. And I'm not sure if it's worth it at those places.
Came for the cocktail making class once a month (I believe on the 2nd Saturday). It was a lot of fun. Had a coffee and burger while there. The burger was one of the best I've had in a while. Sweet potato fries are also good. Wasn't impressed with the coffee, but I like mine hot, and the girl made it Iced by mistake. Will try something else next time.
I am so glad my husband recommended this place! Justin, an employee, greeted us when we walked in & gave us all the deets.
For those that work remote, this is a perfect place to lunch. Get a Coffee
A perfect Meet up spot!
This is the coolest place! It is also Black and female owned!
The barbecue pizza he recommended was scrumptious!
I’m so glad we had a chance to visit!
I’m sure I will be back!
This was me and my wife’s first time visiting people’s market and we loved it. We never visited the original but we are glad they are back open now and in the Elizabeth area. This location is perfect and very spacious. The iced lattes we got were great along with the food. Highly recommend visiting this place! Great atmosphere, great food and great vibes. They offer breakfast all day along with lunch food. Breakfast is my favorite food so I’m glad to see a nice variety of it. Overall, we loved it and will return back for sure.
The standard American breakfast should always include some form of eggs and grits. The People’s Market is a place I've always seen but never knew existed. Their breakfast was so good. Fluffy scrambled eggs. The grits were thick and creamy, and I only needed to add a pinch of pepper. The chicken biscuit is also a great eat. A tender juicy thigh on a fluffy biscuit. I will gladly add The People’s Market to my list of breakfast spots. #GratuityAdded

Pretty good spot with a creative menu and unique food combinations. The sriracha bacon is absolutely insane btw! They serve coffee, sandwiches, wine, pizza, bakery items, etc., and it’s a very relaxed atmosphere with a good playlist running. Perfect for a quick bite, studying, or catching up with a friend. The blond lady running register was super friendly, and while the other guy working wasn’t rude, I do feel like he could’ve increased his hospitality a bit.
Informal and cute, I ordered a salmon sandwich, waffle sweet potatoes and a smoothie, everything was so yummy and good price, the service was 2/3 with three people working there, two helpful, friendly and smiling ones, one looked a little that it didn't like its job very much or was tired, I certainly don't know; I will go again maybe to try desserts and coffee (and maybe a sandwich to go hehe), they also looked very good 😊
I frequent the people's market quite often and I must say this is one of Charlotte's best locations for remote working and small team meetings. The servers are always pleasant and helpful. The food is really great too. Their fries could rival Five Guys! We chose this place because the parking is free and the atmosphere is always on point. We'll definitely be meeting here more often.
I loooove this place. It is a really cute atmosphere, lots of space, and amazing food! Last time I tried their breakfast burrito and it was really good.
