I absolutely love this place! I have started eating breakfast there about 4x a week! They treat me like family! I always sit with Jessica Bradley bc she is the best server and knows what I like! Thank you guys ❤️

I have been a patron of Carolina restaurant for years. I started patronizing with them in the 80s
Affordable food, large portions, excellent service- all these add up to a great experience that ensure my family and I will return!
Our waitress was extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about menu items and the area.
The food was delicious across the board, just the salted ham was way saltier than expected.
The omelette was great-it was unusual in that they used American cheese instead of cheddar, which was unexpected.
Pancakes were standard and tasty.
Coffee was standard diner coffee which I generally find to be a bit weak.
All dishes were very affordable and there were a lot of menu options which I loved!
There's a ton of seating, but try to get there early as they get packed pretty well!
All in all I highly recommend you give this place a try-classic, hometown diner!
Wait staff is super. Best combination of service and personality. Owner is lucky to have her crew in today's environment. Food is seasoned well. Nice little hidden gem.
Famous southern comfort foods. Staff very courteous. Turnip greens melt in your mouth...yummy.
I love what I call a dive for breakfast.
Unpretentious, bottomless coffee in retro cups from an attentive, friendly but not intrusive server. It's the basics. Food was well prepared hot and quick. Server seemed really nervous but was absolutely pleasant. Affordable. Ample seating, nothing overdone. Atmosphere was welcoming and what I look for a great breakfast spot. I'll have to try lunch or dinner there.
We had a good experience here. Food was delicious and the service was great. Home cooked meals, with plenty of specials. I highly recommend this place.
The food is good but please tell servers to stop asking customers with take out orders “would you like to leave a tip.” A tip for a take out order is unnecessary, it’s panhandling and bad etiquette.. if the waitress did not clean up after me and I didn’t eat inside etc they should not be asking customers for tips.. very tacky.
Came into town for my granddad’s birthday. Me and my hubby love to look up local “small” businesses to support being a business owner myself and came across this cute place. I have to admit, it’s the south so I’m watching and looking for all funny business! 🤨 After being greeted by our waitress at the door, and served well by her, whatever I may felt from one ☝🏽 waitress did not take away that NIKKI IS THE BOMB! She forethought what I may wanted and self corrected without a hitch! Awesome food and equally awesome experience.
This place is like a time capsule of 1976 they even have photos of Charlotte with no skyline of towers or condos. My my have this city has grown as your hunger.You will be satisfied as I. Welcome to Charlotte and Carolinas feast on and enjoy home cooked meal style.

If your looking for some sweet southern charm and superb customer service. This is the place. When you first pull in to the Parking lot it looks a bit sketchy. The exterior is a bit outdated and run down..however it gives an allure of a building that has been there for quite some time, but honestly this restaurant has been. The motel next to it doesn't help with alluring people in.
Yet we still went in because of the reviews.
The food wasn't too bad..portions were small but rather filling.
The ladies who served us, (a blonde woman with a sleeve, tattoos) was wonderful. I was with a large group and she provided us with exceptional service and charm.
The interior of the restaurant looks like something from the 70s, but I'd still suggest checking out this place.
Great prices conveniently located to the outlet mall and to the direction we are heading (sadly back to the airport).
I was a bit sad I showed up too early to have lunch, but I'm so glad I stayed. The breakfast was super good, I ate the eggs and bacon too fast to get pics of them. And the french toast? O M G. I definitely plan on making the 2 and a half hour trip just to come up and try their lunch. Not to mention everyone was super sweet and kind. Looks are deceiving. Please, please stop here and eat if you're in the area. It's worth it.
