Our waitress was extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about menu items and the area.
The food was delicious across the board, just the salted ham was way saltier than expected.
The omelette was great-it was unusual in that they used American cheese instead of cheddar, which was unexpected.
Pancakes were standard and tasty.
Coffee was standard diner coffee which I generally find to be a bit weak.
All dishes were very affordable and there were a lot of menu options which I loved!
There's a ton of seating, but try to get there early as they get packed pretty well!
All in all I highly recommend you give this place a try-classic, hometown diner!

I love what I call a dive for breakfast.
Unpretentious, bottomless coffee in retro cups from an attentive, friendly but not intrusive server. It's the basics. Food was well prepared hot and quick. Server seemed really nervous but was absolutely pleasant. Affordable. Ample seating, nothing overdone. Atmosphere was welcoming and what I look for a great breakfast spot. I'll have to try lunch or dinner there.

The food is good but please tell servers to stop asking customers with take out orders “would you like to leave a tip.” A tip for a take out order is unnecessary, it’s panhandling and bad etiquette.. if the waitress did not clean up after me and I didn’t eat inside etc they should not be asking customers for tips.. very tacky.

Came into town for my granddad’s birthday. Me and my hubby love to look up local “small” businesses to support being a business owner myself and came across this cute place. I have to admit, it’s the south so I’m watching and looking for all funny business! 🤨 After being greeted by our waitress at the door, and served well by her, whatever I may felt from one ☝🏽 waitress did not take away that NIKKI IS THE BOMB! She forethought what I may wanted and self corrected without a hitch! Awesome food and equally awesome experience.

If your looking for some sweet southern charm and superb customer service. This is the place. When you first pull in to the Parking lot it looks a bit sketchy. The exterior is a bit outdated and run down..however it gives an allure of a building that has been there for quite some time, but honestly this restaurant has been. The motel next to it doesn't help with alluring people in.
Yet we still went in because of the reviews.
The food wasn't too bad..portions were small but rather filling.
The ladies who served us, (a blonde woman with a sleeve, tattoos) was wonderful. I was with a large group and she provided us with exceptional service and charm.
The interior of the restaurant looks like something from the 70s, but I'd still suggest checking out this place.
Great prices conveniently located to the outlet mall and to the direction we are heading (sadly back to the airport).

I was a bit sad I showed up too early to have lunch, but I'm so glad I stayed. The breakfast was super good, I ate the eggs and bacon too fast to get pics of them. And the french toast? O M G. I definitely plan on making the 2 and a half hour trip just to come up and try their lunch. Not to mention everyone was super sweet and kind. Looks are deceiving. Please, please stop here and eat if you're in the area. It's worth it.

Feels like a family meal at grandma's house. With the fresh food and waitress fussing across the building where the customers can hear, most people feel at home. The food was decent. Waitress working hard to serve with a smile. French toast were really good. Decent portions for the prices!!! From the kitchen staff they have early bird specials BUT WILL NOT SERVE THEM A MINUTE AFTER 10AM🤣🤣🤣 Seemed a great place that was a go to favorite for locals.

First time here. Reviews looked good, but I felt a bit rushed to order. Also didn't care too much for the 11 A.M. breakfast cut off. Waitress was very business like and efficient, not much in the personality department. Place was clean, if a little tired looking. Food was very good. If looking for food, and not much else, this is a good choice. Prices pretty much as expected. Not likely to be a fav place, but good for Wilkinson Blvd. Overall, more good than bad, but it's a close call. I can recommend, if you're in the area, but wouldn't travel too far for this. Parking seemed adequate, and this was at 11:30 A.M., so your mileage may vary.

The Big Burger was pretty amazing. I've been in Charlotte all my life and I didn't know this restaurant was right there. Customer Service was ok, they were about to close and I was the last person to order and my food was still fresh hot and good.

If you want to feel taken care of, this is place to go. Great food and prices. Had a surprising combination of Tilapia with my eggs and hash browns. Delicious.

We saw this place on our way to our hotel from the airport.
This place is awesome. The lunch was great, we had the blackened tilapia and the BLT sandwich. They were both great.
We came back for breakfast the next day because we figured it would be good. It did not disappoint. Eggs, bacon, sausage, homemade biscuits(out of this world), and pancakes. They were all really good!
The waitresses and owner/cook/waitress were friendly and attentive. Wish this was in my neighborhood back home!

Great experience all around! Stopped here because we were starving after a long flight and it did not disappoint. Food was very reasonably priced, classic delicious dinner food and fantastic atmosphere with that "home town" vibe. Definitely would go again if I was back in the area.

I didn't know about this place until I Googled "Restaurants that serve livermush." We chose Carolina Family Restaurant. The food was great. Excellent service-attentive to our needs and very friendly. We will visit again.
