Basil is great for a late lunch and to escape the heat and crowds. Ashley suggested the mango martini and the medium spicy Pad See-Eu flat noodle) with crispy tofu and only a few broccoli pieces. Delicious! It came out with the proper heat (steam appreciated!) Great balance of sweetness and spice. I added more chiles because who doesn't mind nose sniffles. Enjoy and take some home for leftovers or share with a friend!

Everything was better than mediocre, nothing was spectacular: the food, service, atmosphere were all fine. Prices were a little high, Great place to take someone who isn't sure whether they like Thai food, because it's fairly homogenized. Spring rolls were attractively presented. Though we were there fairly late, we did not feel rushed.

Great thai restaurant. The food served here is very rich and tasty. The service provided is good. The receptionist was not so warm though. She had a hard time greeting us with a smiling face. Our waitress was caring. Order shrimp stuffed with chicken as a started and shrimp fried rice. Both were delicious. The interiors are well designed. Its a cozy place to dine in and enjoy your food.

Such a lovely place for lunch. From the moment we walked in, everyone was super attentive and friendly. Our server, Paul, was honestly one of the best waiters I've ever had (And I'm from NYC, home of some of the best restaurants in the country). Very cordial and helpful. Excited about the food here and knowledgeable about menu and ingredients. Made good recommendations. We started with the fried wontons (yum yum yum) and I had the beef pad see eu. My friend had the shrimp basil dish. Everything was DELICIOUS!! The beef was tender and flavorful and the basil was very fresh (I would hope so!). Highly recommend this place. By the way, the mango sticky rice was SLAMMIN'!

Love this place because of the outdoor patio. Tasty Thai food. Prices seem a little high for the portions but you always know you’re going to get a solid meal. The beef salad is wonderful. The staff is always friendly and eager to make your experience a good one. Really have no complaint about this place.

Basil Thai Cuisine - Ballentyne has been our go-to spot for exceptional dine-in experiences, particularly for their superb Pad Thai. Yet, takeaway has been a different story. The Pad Thai arrives dry and lacking flavor, seemingly due to the cardboard packaging absorbing the sauce. This consistency issue has unfortunately dampened our takeaway experiences. We hope the restaurant can address this to match the quality of their dine-in service.

Our waiter was outstanding, we made reservations early for dinner and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolutely yummy! I had the vegetable fried rice with tofu and my husband had the pad thai. Overall a genuinely good dining experience and we would definitely recommend for a nice dinner night out. The spice levels can be customized so if you are worried about spice this os a great place to try a fusion thai/asian dish with less spice.
