I love old things and antiques and this place felt like I just left my home. Celebrated my birthday here and it was awesome. I was even given a bottle of champagne to share with my friends. And the cocktails and food were amazing. Definitely coming back. #Classy

Unique lounge with great cocktails, staff and food! By far the neatest place I've visited in a while.
My husband and I visited Sophia's Lounge as part of our stay at The Ivey's. The lounge was decked out in holiday decor with low lighting that added to the ambiance. We checked in and headed straight to the bar for a complimentary glass of wine. We tried the truffle fries, charcuterie, and the lamb meatballs. Each dish had an amazing presentation and taste. As for drinks, we tried Sophia's Old Fashion, Purple Reign, and Your Highness. The Your Highness cocktail was by far our favorite. It was lightly sweet with the perfect mix of spices featuring a smoked cinnamon stick. Our server Jordan went above and beyond for us during our dining! We recommend a visit to Sophia lounge for anyone seeking a high end night out.
The next day we headed back to Sophia's Lounge for breakfast. We tried the Omelette Lorraine, Sophia's French Toast, Chicken Apple Sausage, and the Queens City's Coffee. Once again the food was amazing and we had wonderful service.
Had a nice time at Sophia’s Lounge in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was a really cool space. Would be good for a first date. Very loungey and had very comfortable chairs. The bar was really nice too. The bartender was super friendly and made a great drink. I’m not 100% sure but they were two bartenders and I think they were in charge of serving the whole place. I did order a wine and she forgot to give it to me and was very apologetic about it. We had the tequila drink and I wanted a dirty martini and they were both delicious. We ordered fries and they were delicious but they were ice cold. She gave us another order and they were even colder than the first. I was sad because if they were hot, they would’ve been delicious. We also had the sliders and they were good. I still would definitely go back!

Wonder cocktail and dessert experience. It was our waiter's first night, and he did amazingly handling the floor on his own. This would be a perfect date spot, and i look forward to returning.
Service and atmosphere were a 10. Its a must to make a reservation. It was packed, but nice grown and sexy crowd. Everyone was dressy. I was able to make an 8pm Saturday reservation for 4 the day before on a Friday, but I wouldn't cut it so close. Sophia's Lounge is inside the Ivey's hotel, but you need to enter through the 5th street entrance and be prepared to have them check your id. If you're Vegan, you will be limited to the hummus trio, French fries, and/or a salad. All my other meat eating friends loved their meals which you will see in the pictures. I liked 2 of the 3 hummus trio, and the fries were average. I parked on Church street close to trade for $8. The drinks were creative and alcohol well balanced. I would say average spending would be $50-$80.
Went for a date night and the lounge didn’t disappoint us.

We came here for some drinks after dinner and it hit the spot. The drinks were perfect. The bartender was so friendly and made sure to take care of us. It wasn't busy so we had privacy and could make ourselves comfortable it's very cozy and romantic in there.
Sophia's Lounge is a great place for a special treat. We were staying at The Ivy's so we got to experience coming down the grand staircase into the lounge. The bar staff are super friendly and are able to answer questions about drinks and even make special requests. The drinks are unique and delicious and they offer more fuzzy furniture than you could ever hope for.
I visited on a Tuesday night and I was surprised to see that it stayed very busy! The lounge is rather small, but it has a cozy, quaint, and home-like ambiance. I didn't try the food, but the menu looked appealing and the prices were on par. The cocktails I had were absolutely delicious and the service was fast and efficient..I will say that it was 90 degrees outside, and it was slightly warm inside (around 80) but that was the only negative aspect of my visit. I would definitely return.
Great atmosphere. The waiter helped address my drinks which made it taste sooo much better. I didn't eat here but the crowd was nice. I'll come back for sure
