Tequila's Mexican Grill

After a 2-hour dance recital..... It was time for some grub. Our stomachs landed us at tequila's tacos and bar. I switched it up this time. I ordered the Taco Shots, with a side of Corn and Mexican rice, and washed it all down with a flight of margaritas. The taco shots came with two steaks and two chickens. Both proteins were delicious and cooked to perfection. I topped them with pico de gallo (all ingredients were fresh), and also with my corn and Mexican rice. I had a passion fruit, mango, strawberry and pineapple margarita, as part of my flight. 2nd time there. It's a nice restaurant. I was a little disappointed with the beef pizza served with a cup of its broth. Next time I'll try something else. My drinks were they star of my show. The bartender was awesome. She was knowledge about the tequilas. My drinks tested great, very well balanced. Her presentation was one of the best that I've ever seen!!

I've been curious about this place every since I've seen it. Someone mentioned to me also that the place would be a good pick. My grandparents, my son and I were treated very well. I will return cause it's about the customer service for me, as well as the foody food. The platters were huge and doggy bags were needed. Treat yourself, your family and friends and go. They won't disappoint

I took my son who is a student at Charlotte to lunch at Tequilas Tacos and Bar on a Saturday afternoon. The place has a cool vibe and the service was great. The chips were some of the best I have had at a Mexican restaurant, and the salsa was just the right amount of spice. My son ordered the Texas Rice. It is a hug portion of a bed of rice with steak, chicken and shrimp. He loved it and ate it all. I asked our server to recommend something to me that she loves. I had the Chilaquiles with steak, which were so tasty. I will definitely come back here and recommend this place.
