Hotdoggers Coney Cafe

We visit Charlevoix at least once a year and Hotdoggers is our favorite place to eat in town. The Chicago dog is my go to and the kids love their chicken strips and french fries. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. A bit of a hidden gem as it is not right on the main road, but this place is an excellent option for lunch!

Hotdoggers Coney Cafe serves up the best Chicago-style hot dogs I've ever had, even surpassing those at Portillo's. Each bite is a flavorful explosion, capturing the true essence of the Windy City. Hotdoggers' attention to detail and quality ingredients make for an unbeatable hot dog experience. It's not just about the food, but the entire experience that transports you straight into the heart of Chicago. My only suggestion? I'd love to see them tackle Italian beef sandwiches next. With their skill and passion, I'm certain it would be phenomenal. In short, Hotdoggers is a must-visit for any Chicago-style cuisine lover. I look forward to my next visit and hopefully trying a new menu addition, most likely the Gyro!

The coneys we had were delicious and just how I remembered it when we visited 4 years ago!! If you are in the area, give these guys a try. You won't be disappointed, one of the best places to get your coney dog fix!! You guys always make amazing coneys and hopefully we can make it back before you close for the season. I’ve had their coneys, chicken pita, gyro and burgers. All are excellent. I love the tzatziki sauce. Their relish is fresh and homemade. The burger was so good it didn’t need any condiments. The fries are the best in town. The staff is very personable and take good care of their customers. Definitely a must try when you are in Charlevoix.
