A mixed bag on this one. The food was pretty good but the establishment was a dive and the waitstaff was rude.
Great little restaurant that we just happened to stop in. My friend had eggs Benedict and I had the meat lovers omelet. There was so much sausage, bacon and ham in my omelet! We both enjoyed our breakfast very much and definitely recommend this cafe.
Perfect quaint place for a traditional breakfast. Easy walk from around town and marina. Portions large enough to feed two. Special homemade cinnamon or sourdough bread with a meal is fantastic. Very nice staff. Quick service, good food, and good value. Very popular... every table full by the time we left.
We decided to stop and have breakfast here, we have never been.
It's a great little diner, servers were very friendly and food was delicious.
I told my server that I had a dairy allergy, she went to get the Manger (Christina) so we could figure out what I could have. She was very attentive and explained that she takes allergies seriously because she has a severe (deadly) allergy.
She even delivered my food to me😊
To know that she took it that seriously made me feel at ease.

First time guests. We both work in hospitality. We come to charlevoix every year. Our favorite spot was closed on Wednesdays so we tried this gem. Quick service and great breakfast. Is your bacon locally sourced. It was awesome. Already recommended it to friends and family. See you next year.
Best breakfast in town! A staple in the community! Owners take great pride in this establishment, You can often find them bussing tables and making eggs. Nothing nebulous about this place.

Staying in the area, we wanted to have breakfast at a place that included sweet and savory meals.
The Harbor View Cafe has good reviews and their menu has classic staples and homemade items like bread and pastries.
We decided to check it out, and the outdoor seating area was perfect. It was well shaded, and you could see the water! They also allowed dogs outside, which was ideal for us, as we were roadtripping with our dog.
We ordered the biscuits and gravy to share, I ordered the California eggs Benedict and my husband ordered the Three of everything.
The gravy was piping hot and well seasoned. The hashbrowns could have been cooked more thoroughly, even after requesting well done/extra crispy, there were soggy parts. I was able to request substitutions on the eggs Benedict, which was great because I subbed the English muffin for their homemade sour dough, its amazing! Highly recommend ordering their homemade bread, it made a difference in my experience. And this was probably the best Hollandaise sauce I've had at any restaurant, I ordered extra! The tomatoes were tasty and I was able to get the avocado on the side
Boden offered the best service by far! They were attentive, and everything was exactly as we requested. Get a table where they are your server!
After breakfast, being able to walk across the street and enjoy the park and boardwalk was a plus.
Great people. 👍 tip top. The best. Very friendly great food. Peewee is there almost ever morning. They help my friend dan and leon ❤️ with large discounts on there food because there on a fixed income. Great owner great staff.
Basic Cafe with fantastic breakfast food!! Best bacon I've had in a long time! I oder order a second order....Plate size pancake stuffed with blueberries, biscuits and gravy
As a Southern girl who loves home cooking, this place served an awesome breakfast! Love the coffee, and my granddaughter loves the biscuits and gravy! Casual, laid back atmosphere with great food at a reasonable price!
The atmosphere was great. Tiny little mom and pop dinner feel right in the middle of town. The place was packed with a wait the entire time we were there. My wife had the country omelette, it was great and I had the Hash o.elette, sad to say that meals didnt hold up to expectations as everything else did. The Hash omelette tasted like bottom grade canned hash that was covered in salt. I will admitt though, set aside the omelette that i didnt care for and the Vicki's Sourdough toast was the best ove ever had. We will try again on our next trip.
