I’m from NC but when I think “Charleston, South Carolina”, I think “60 Bull Cafe”. I drove 8 hours and the next morning we ate breakfast there. The George St. Daily is hands-down the best breakfast sandwich I have ever eaten and I washed it down with a mimosa, so it was a very classy meal for this North Carolinian. Chef Joel and the entire staff treat you like family, I almost called him “Uncle Chef Joel”. Fine dining at a reasonable price. We’re definitely going back.

So good! Local blue crab toast and the Rutledge hash were excellent :) and $3 mimosa! can’t beat the brunch
We all loved the dishes. Huevos, Rutledge Hash, waffles, all were very good. The flavors were so good! Would definitely come back. Our server was awesome as well. There is a small sidewalk patio with three tables.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Staying in Charleston with friends this week. Had reservations at 2 popular restaurants. Decided to stay close to the house, and walked to 60 Bull Friday night instead. Absolutely fabulous! Krista was our waitress, with top notch service. The food was SOLID! If you have the opportunity....GO!
Great service and tasty food. The BLT may be the best I've ever tasted.
Nice day for a walk to a neighborhood cafe. Atmosphere was vivacious yet relaxing. Well greeted by cordial server. The food was wonderfully prepared and delicious. We ordered the very juicy grilled chicken sandwich with side Caesar salad and black bean burger (indescribably good) with fresh cut fries (portion too generous to eat all). Also, there is a great offering of freshly made desserts on display. This sunny spot gets a “like” and would recommend.
I am lucky enough to visit often, though always for lunch. I adore Katie and the staff, all are so personable and welcoming! I have a few favorites, so I recommend giving something new a try, you most likely will not be disappointed. I will continue to keep coming back for amazing food and smiles!

January 6, 2023 - On recommendation, my wife and I walked from our hotel to dine tonight at 60 Bull Cafe . . . Glad we did!
Chef Joel Vetsch opened his dream restaurant in 2016. His culinary skills produced a tasty arugula salad with a sweet & tangy mustard vinaigrette! I liked the Duck confit BLT , with Parmesan fries! My wife enjoyed her Flounder special tonight! Unfortunately we too full to try the homemade desserts, next time maybe that delicious looking pecan pie, or the chocolate & peanut butter pie! I also praise the SC beer choices! I enjoyed a Holy City Pluff Mud Porter!
High marks for the food quality, and Savannah’s flawless service ! This little neighborhood restaurant offers fresh food, prepared with new twists on Southern American cuisine! You won’t find long lines, but abit of a wait for one of the few tables . They accept reservations for parties of 6 or more. A solid 5 stars rating at 60 Bull Cafe!
Suggestion: “Evening dinners” might plan ahead for dinner reservations, seek out early or later times to be seated . . . avoid “ peak times”! I’ve realized there’s a lot of HUNGRY diners, looking for dinner OUT in Charleston!
I recently visited 60 Bull Cafe while in Charleston for the Indigo Girls concert. I was looking for a delicious and unique meal, and I was not disappointed.
60 Bull Cafe is a small, local cafe located off the beaten path. The menu features a variety of creative and delicious dishes, including the shrimp and grits and the cobbler.
The shrimp and grits are made with fresh, locally-sourced shrimp and creamy grits. The dish is topped with a delicious, creamy sauce. The cobbler is made with fresh, seasonal fruit and a flaky crust. It is the perfect dessert to end a meal.
The staff at 60 Bull Cafe was friendly and helpful. They were happy to answer my questions about the menu, and they even gave me some recommendations. I would definitely recommend 60 Bull Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious and unique meal in Charleston.
Here are some of the things I loved about 60 Bull Cafe:

Friendly and helpful staff
Local gem off the beaten path
I would definitely recommend 60 Bull Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious and unique meal in Charleston.
Here are some additional details about my visit:
I visited 60 Bull Cafe on a Saturday afternoon, and it was not very crowded.
I ordered the shrimp and grits and the cobbler, and they were both amazing.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
I would give 60 Bull Cafe a 5-star rating.
I also stayed at the Francis Marion Hotel and had a massage at The Spa of Charleston. Both experiences were amazing, and I would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Charleston.
Incredible duck confit and pimento cheese chicken biscuit. Meals are generous size and the ice coffee is amazing.
Excellent refreshing food! We got the shrimp gumbo, 60 bull cafe salad along with the fried green tomato plate and 1 order of the wild caught fried seafood (flounder). service was good. Only downside is we went on a Wednesday and it was packed since there aren’t a lot of seats! Business is booming good for them
After a couple days visiting the hospital and eating fast food, I ventured out for something fresh and delicious. 60 Bull Cafe did not disappoint! The burger was perfect and the salad refreshing. The dessert menu was very tempting but I'd already over-ordered. Definitely a great place to grab a tasty meal! The wine menu was very nice too.
