Love Little Jacks. Their food is always excellent! I haven’t been since before Covid and was the Irish Coffee and was very disappointed when the served me a traditional style Irish coffee in a tall mug with lots of coffee and little cream. They used to make then Buena Vista style. Jack the bartender saw our disappointment and he remade them. They were not perfect but still delicious and the effort was appreciated. Please bring back the Buena Vista style Irish coffees!!!

This has got to be one of my favorites in Chucktown. The burger is phenomenal, the fries and the sauce were great as well. Owned by the same people as Leon’s (another favorite of mine) I would have expected nothing less! Absolutely would recommend!

The food is relatively good at Little Jacks, but every item we had was accompanied by the haunting feeling of something not being perfect. The Pisco sour is great, but it's tiny and 14 dollars. The burger was great, but the fries were cold. The steak was good but definitely undercooked. Generally speaking, this is a solid restaurant in Charleston, and it's important to keep these neighborhood style eaterys, but it doesn't feel like somewhere I would always go. Sodas for DD's are not refillable and instead come in those tiny airline cans with barely enough to wet the bottom of your glass. Service is good and knowledgeable but it's a steak and potatoes kind of restaurant so you don't need much knowledge or service.

This is my 1st time trying this place and I kid you not, this place is amazing! I had the surf and turf burger, my brother had the fried fish and my sister got the veggie burger. All the food was amazing! We sat outside since it was a beautiful day (which I recommend doing). The staff was so nice and very knowledgeable about their menu. I recommend coming here and trying their food.

First time eating a Little Jacks. I haven’t been there before and was excited to try it. I sat at the bar and the server was very professional and friendly. I had the staple Tavern burger. Flavor was great and the Garlic herb fries were great. Portion was a a tad on the small side for the price and the burger size is probably below normal. So if you are expecting to fill yourself you should consider getting the double. The single is great for a nice lunch not weighing you down. Ambiance was amazing! Love the old town feel.

Great service and a good burger. We were going to split a double the bar tender suggested ordered the twins. Which the just took the double and made two single burgers and we split the fries. Was perfect for two people. One of the better burgers I have had in Charleston. Got an appetizer of garlic knots and cheese. Was good but not a lot of garlic flavor more of just a Parmesan cheese flavor. Over all good!

We made a quick stop to grab some dinner at Little Jacks Tavern as it was one of the restaurants on our list to visit. The atmosphere was slightly dark and the food was really good especially the server. Ryan served us that evening and was attentive in checking up with his guests. My wife and I ordered the grouper hush puppies, the surf and turf burgers with garlic & herb fries and the grilled Mahi with roasted Brussels sprouts. The food was delicious and we highly recommend checking out this tavern!

Short: Delicious but overpriced food and drinks. Longer: The burgers were yummy but very small so you will need to order a double if you are over 110lbs. You can get Herb and Parmesan on the fries for an extra $2 but it's literally just a sprinkle, half the fries will still be plain. The margarita was also delicious but again very small. Tables are very close together and not the most comfortable. $111 for 2 people at lunch. Had to eat again an hour later.

We went to Little Jack’s Tavern for a date night while out of town. There was a $50 hold charge for a reservation on a Thursday night, which was a little odd to me, but we did have to make the reservations in advance to get in, and we’ve heard that Little Jack’s Tavern is hard to get into at times. We ordered two drinks, a Brown Derby and a Bee’s Knees. Both tasted great and we would recommend them. For appetizers, we ordered the Crab cake and the Shrimp cocktail. The crab cake was amazing, and the tavern sauce that it came with was tasty, like a mayo ketchup aioli. The shrimp in the Shrimp Cocktail were big and the cocktail sauce was mild but robust in flavor. I’d definitely recommend. For mains, we ordered the Surf and Turf, and the Tavern burger. The Surf and Turf came with a Tavern burger and a Shrimp burger, which I’ve never had before, but would highly recommend to those that enjoy shrimp. It was delicious. The fries on the side were a garlic and herb fry with more herbs than garlic, but were crispy and served with the tavern sauce to dip in. The tavern burger was served in the same sesame seed bun as the shrimp burger, which was nice and soft with lots of sesame seeds. The tavern sauce on the burger is quite enjoyable. I would agree with others that the burgers are quite small, but they are quite tasty. You should be the judge of whether they are worth it or not; I thought they were. Our total came out to $140, with the tip. Overall, I would recommend Little Jack’s Tavern to those looking for an upscale casual place to dine in the Charleston area.
