Probably my favorite restaurant in Charleston! The short ribs are the best I've ever had. And the tomato pie apppetizer was delicious. Service was great and the courtyard is beautiful and romantic. Highly recommended!

After a short wait at the bar, we were seated in a very nice small room with maybe six tables in it. It was reminiscent of an old southern dining room. The she-crab soup is as good as advertised as are the fried green tomatoes. We had shrimp & grits and crab cakes as mains and both were delicious. Pecan Pie and ice cream for dessert. How can you go wrong? Great service and friendly atmosphere.

WOW! Southern cooking at its finest.. plus spectacular service & gorgeous setting. Our party of 6 reunited with my daughter who’s attending CofC for an incredible brunch outdoors on the patio. The She Crab soup did not disappoint, as did the sumptuous Southern Tomato Pie, Fried Green Tomatoes, shrimp & grits and crab cakes. Cannot wait to visit again! An absolute must :)

Quaint location nicely done and appointed. The service was friendly and helpful. My wife didn't love the She Crab Soup but liked the Crab Cakes. The winner for me was the Tomato Pie. Rich enough to be dessert.

This place was beautiful and such a great atmosphere. The service here was phenomenal! Our server was attentive and helpful in every way. The food was a good portion size and delicious. Such great seafood. Being from Texas, I always enjoy trying seafood from the East Coast, and they did not disappoint. A must visit if you are in the city.

I love everything about 82 Queen. The atmosphere is so cozy and romantic. We were able to get a reservation and as we walked up, we were very pleased as there is so much to take in along the pathway of entry. Upon being seated, our server immediately came over to introduce herself and take the drink order. She was so friendly and accommodated everything we asked for and noticed when our drinks were low to refill. We were traveling with our granddaughter and several of the staff stopped by just to see her and made sure we had everything necessary for an enjoyable evening. Now about the food, it was absolutely fantastic. Everything we ordered was delicious and presented very well. One of things I love about Charleston, is visiting all the quaint areas and restaurants. This restaurant was well worth the stop along the way.

What a lovely place! We were warmly greeted by the hosts and taken to a nice table. They had plenty of seating options - inside, outside, and outside covered. It seems like a special place. Everyone said to try the she 🦀 soup and they theirs was the best. We both found it to be just ok. It seemed to be floury. We did enjoy our salads and the fried green tomatoes were excellent!
Cocktails were tasty - I’m a simple vodka martini drinker and this was crafted to perfection!
Service was friendly and top notch. A great place that we really enjoyed!

Great dinner at a great location! Located in a charming multi-story Southern-style home, complete with fireplaces and decor evoking a different time and place. The parking garage across the street makes for convenient transportation. We had the Restaurant Week special of short rib roast over mashed potatoes and haricot green beans as the main course. The starter green salad was expertly done with ranch-like dressing and the turtle chocolate cheese cake was heavenly. As was the Lemon cake. The portions were just right for all 3 courses. It was a perfect venue to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I would not hesitate to return.

This place is amazing. On this evening we had great weather which made it great. We had tomatoe pie, shrimp and grits, fish special. Masterful. The patio was so comfortable. We enjoyed drinks and a nice evening here and you should too.

The food is great for the price top notch 10 out of 10. The service was great 10 out of 10 just had a few hiccups with the kitchen. I would recommend this place anytime. I really recommend that you do the the brunch on Saturdays and Sundays; the jambalaya is very good, chicken biscuits and gravy with eggs is excellent and the French roast is awesome. Just make sure that your food comes out hot I did have a problem with that but they were great and took it back, heated it up and brought it back out to me hot and offered to take it off the bill, of course I said no but they did it anyway. Our server Sarah was a 15 out of 10 great service very knowledgeable of the menu and if you have a pet this is a great place to sit outside with your pet as they will bring out ice water bowls for your pet to cool them off.
