Get ready, y'all. It's steakhouse time. I put on my nicest pair of black pants for this outing to Charles Town to dine at the Final Cut Steakhouse. This steakhouse, located at Hollywood Casino, is not totally unfamiliar to me. Their folks once shipped me some of their sauces in order for me to try them out and to get the word out (why do some of my old blog posts show photos rotated? ugh).I reached out to my friend Brandon, who lives in DC. Charles Town is just about 1.5 hours from him, so he graciously accepted my offer to meet up for dinner.
Food was delicious, service was great. A bit pricey but is a true example that you get what you pay for! I will be back for sure.
Fantastic restaurant. Quickly seated when we arrived for our reservation. Highly recommend making reservations though because I overheard another person as we were arriving that there was a 2 hour wait. All of the staff was very friendly and worked together very well. Even the manager came around to check on everyone's meal. Now to the Food. One word sums it up FANTASTIC. I have eaten at my fair share of higher end steakhouses and this is by far the best. I highly recommend the Filet and the roasted fingerling potatoes. Once we were done eating we were not rushed out the door which was very nice. I will definately be visiting again.
Excellent food. I have been 3 times since it opened. Be sure to look at the drink menu even if you don't drink. Tuna was the best I have had anywhere.
Wow. Headed to Charles Town last week with my poker buddies for a night of action at Hollywood. It turned into a night of fine dining. They've added a new steakhouse called Final Cut. And we had to try it. We started with a nice Sonoma cab -- which we selected from an iPad that displays the wine list Two of us split the 40 oz. porterhouse, another went for the bone-in rib eye and course Mr. Pescetarian had the day-boat scallops. Everyone raved about their choice and the sides were killers. Lobster mashed potatoes - best mashed spud I've had. And Chris couldn't stop talking about the truffle mac and cheese. And on the dessert front - I could go back again and again for the raspberry tart. 5 star all the way. Headin' back soon.
This was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend going at least once but you will want to go again. We had George as our server and he was nothing less then amazing himself and very helpful and his suggestions were the best. Everything cooked to perfection and the drinks were just as good as the food. They will be seeing more of us I promise that.
Amazing service ! The food was cooked to perfection. I got the wagyu and lobster tail, mash potatoes and asparagus. The mushroom and beef Wellington appetizer was also delish. The steak was butter soft and the lobster was amazing. The wine selection is decent. My glass was never empty.
Prime steakhouse with incredible food. Large portions from the a la carte menu. The Duck Fat Fries with the three dipping sauces are outstanding. The homemade ketchup is by far my favorite of the sauces. Wonderful place for a celebratory dinner. Will definitely be returning.
