Tipsy Toad Tavern

We have been going there for over 20 years. Know the owner. We had dinner with 5 family members tonight and as everyone gradually left and there were 2 of us left we were then asked to leave our table and go to the bar because there was a group of 8 that needed a table. The owner didn’t tell us. A waitress did. How rude. First of all, maybe because we have a special needs child who can’t get sick, we didn’t want to go sit at the bar with a crowd of people and we chose the table where we were. Why do you think we go to the your place so early and eat before the crowd and get the table we do???? We left. So RUDE.

We’ve been here a handful of times; it’s mostly been great. We’ve ordered food a couple of times and one time the bartender was so kind and helpful. She helped us modify the food to make it specific to our dietary needs and it was delicious. Another time the bartender (different person) acted like she was too busy to take care of us the entire time even though there was hardly anyone there. Great little spot with a nice atmosphere and perfect location.
