Catfish Johnny's

Oh Boy here we go, went to eat today first the first time with some friends they where drunk before getting there so they didn't notice anything place was supper busy but of course it's Sunday. The waitress was nice but forgot everything 3 times, at first we sit down i take the menu and there is almost no menu, everything is fried and drink are alcohol based they didn't even have bottled water. I asked for the fried catch and the menu says 14 dollar fried catfish over fries pus a side perfect, the waitress ask you want that with fries so I ask doesn't it comes with fries? Well no that's ur side you can change it tho so I choose Cole slaw. When she finally finish bringing everything.. shrimps fridge cold, nachos had corn and whole cold beans, catfish tasted moldy was thin and the size of chicken skin, the Cole slaw was way to sweat but everyone does it different so i cant complain. If anyone read this and want some catfish drive 5 minutes down the rode there is a get n go Sunoco they sell an amazing catfish,chicken,shrimps,fries and biscuits with honey for 8$. Johnny you taste worst than fast food sorry... The bill was around 500$ for 8 people. PS shrimps wrap was buzzing tho. Edit: i forgot to say they didn't brought me my tartar sauce that's the only reason o wrote this how you forget that just how....

Ate outside on a beautiful day . The food was really good and the service by our waitress Olivia was excellent ! I would definitely go again . We went again for a 2nd time around 7:00 p.m. 5/2022 , the only thing I could say is that the music from the live band was very loud and we could hardly talk over it . We tried to make the best of it . The food was good and the service was excellent .

Great atmosphere. They’ve had good live music every time I have come. Menu is short, but everything is tasty. Perfect place for an afternoon or evening cocktail on the lake. Great selection of frozen drinks. Try the Miami Vice. I had the wings today. They were good. I prefer them crispier and more sauce, but they were still very tasty. Served with quality chunky blue cheese dressing and crunchy celery. My wife had the boom boom shrimp wrap. She said it was a 7.8 (she doesn’t give rookie scores)

The setting in the lake doesn't make up for the terrible service and cold food. They were clearly overwhelmed with the beautiful weather, but our waitress was just bad. We spent 3 hours total, waiting for drinks, salads, utensils, napkins, entrees. Server blamed the bartenders, the kitchen, anyone but herself. There are plenty of good restaurants in our area. Avoid Rusty Anchor/Catfish Johnny's if you want a good meal and nice experience.
