One of my favorite bars in Chapel Hill. It’s a great vibe and a feel good place to go. The atmosphere is a nice change from He’s Not Here and MAW, and more chill charm to it. The love music there is amazing.

Cool place. I really dug it. Very small which in my opinion makes it feel more exclusive. 2 separate rooms. In the front a nice 12 foot? bar and a little hallway takes you back to a nice lounge and billiards room. Easy access to the back door for tobacco users (which I'm not anymore, but still find convenient). Very cool vibe for small intimate shows. Would be great for a little 3 piece band to play or solo acoustic act. I went to support my buddy doing a hip hop/rap act and it had a good time.

The cave was awesome! We came and watched The New Creatures play and it was an amazing venue to watch at. Great atmosphere!

Still a calm, funky, pleasant music destination. I don't know if I've ever seen a bad band at the Cave. Even if the band style may not be to your taste you can still enjoy the quality. It's also a nice place to drop by in the evening for drinks before dinner or a show. And being a cave it's a refreshing respite from the heat.

Same as it ever was. Live music, beer and liquor, and fun people in a cave. Oldest bar in Chapel Hill. Back room with pool. What more could you want?

Vibe is SO cozy. Drinks are reasonably priced. Didn't stick around for the music in part because the sound check was so damn loud for such a tiny space. Might give it another shot if I bring earplugs.

Cool little place to see a show and grab a drink. Really put a lot of effort into the cave design. Really friendly staff.
