I got the famous Chicken N cheddar Biscuit. It is good and fluffy even if it's not hot. Not picrured cornbread was also super good and super fluffy! The lady at the counter was friendly! Place was clean as well.

Had a BBQ Chicken plate catered from them. Good potions. Needed a pinch of salt. Great biscuits.

(Updated) Price display is not even accurate. It showed $9.99 and $10.99 for plate meals. Was charged near $16. IF you can't advertise prices clearly and then overcharge from what was displayed then you're not looking out for the general public. First and Last time going.

The receipt is itemized. The plate meal was charged $16 (before taxes) by itself. The drink was itemized also at over $2 (before taxes). No offense but I don't have the time or gas to "come back". I'm not making my review any better because you all want to make it right. For what? Just to do the same thing to someone else? This has to be a public awareness.
If there is an error in advertising something and overcharging like that then this business needs to either have more of a moral value or close down or fire people for bookkeeping/fraud issues because it is obviously not looking out for the general public. I don't leave reviews a lot but this was much needed.
Updated to response: If certain selections alter the price don't you all think that should be clearly displayed and advertised somewhere?

I'm originally from Chicago, currently residing in Durham, NC, so I know good fried chicken, my mom's, mine lol, Harold's Chicken 87th off the Dan Ryan, but when I tell you Time out has thee best Fried Chicken, collard greens, candid yams, corn bread, potato salad, cole slaw, Mac and cheese, pecan pie, chocolate chip cookies and that Fountain lemon aid 😱 and yes I drive to Chapel Hill maybe once a week just for Time Out.

Every single thing is so very very good. The cinnamon rolls are sweet and sticky and perfectly soft. The chicken and dumplings feel like they come from grandma's kitchen. The chicken biscuit is the best I've ever had. Eating here is a must.

Great food, fried chicken, taters, and sandwiches. I highly recommend the cheddar burger. They give you good size portions and haven't ever encountered a wait in the restaurant I've also placed online orders and they were ready in the timeframe promised.
